This Utility: DelTypedURL
Removes the URL's from the Address Bar drop-down list without deleting the Internet Explorer History. http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm -- Henri Leboeuf Web page: http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/index.htm "Bill" <bill@billclanton.com> wrote in message news:087c01c3b686$2b8a4260$a101280a@phx.gbl... > would like to selectively remove several URL entries from > the Explorer address bar ... any know how? |

Bill,
DelTypedURL will remove them all. I learned that the hard way ;-o See: 157729 - How to Clear the History Entries in Internet Explorer: http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...b;en-us;Q157729 for manual removal methods. IE Address Bar Editor: http://www.freesoft.fsnet.co.uk/ieedit01.htm makes this a little easier. If you type in URLs via File> Open they won't end up in this list and you can keep just a select few URLs in the Address Bar dropdown. Don -- Newsgroup replies preferred, but e-mail address is... don_04[at]varnau[dot]org - - - - - - - - - "Bill" <bill[at]billclanton.com> wrote in message news:087c01c3b686$2b8a4260$a101280a@phx.gbl... > would like to selectively remove several URL entries from > the Explorer address bar ... any know how? |

No, I did not contact Mike. I believe that DelTypedURL is *intended* to
remove all typedurls from that registry key. I looked at the note on the site. It could be interpreted both ways.
Or maybe I'm reading it wrong. -- Henri Leboeuf Web page: http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/index.htm "DVarnau" <don_04[at]varnau[dot]org> wrote in message news:O2gdZw1tDHA.2444@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > No, I did not contact Mike.
