ianchristmasEach year, Ian writes his letter to Santa. I ask him to list the things he wants Santa to bring him, and he does the rest.

This year, at 7 years old, he made sure to check on the reindeer, say thank you and wish Santa well. But my favorite part of the letter is the “PS. I still believe you!”

Ian also drew an impressive McLaren kid’s car that he dreamed up. It has scissor doors and drives at a top speed of 30 mph. The problem is that nobody makes these. But Ian simply assured me that “Santa can do anything.” Talk about giving Santa a tall order!

This year is a bit tougher for most people with today’s economy. My wish for everyone this Christmas is that we can focus less on the material, and more on the true meaning of Christmas.

Family has a unique and special meaning on this, the most important of holidays. I'm especially grateful to God for the love I share with my husband and our son Ian.

I pray for the safety of our troops around the world, and I'm grateful for the bravery and courage of the men and women who work in our police, fire and emergency services.

So this holiday, may God bless America. I hope this day brings you and your loved ones peace, happiness and tranquility.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Kim :)
