Greenland is a self-governing overseas administrative division of the Kingdom of Denmark, called Grønland, in Danish, and Kalaallit Nunaat, in Inuit.
• Weekend Public Holidays: Public holidays that occur on a weekend remain on that date (ie. they are not moved to another date, such as the following Monday, for example).
• The Greenlandic National Day is June 21st and is called Ullortuneq, meaning "The Longest Day". The day is celebrated with cultural activities, entertainment, shows and communal outdoor eating .
