McDonald's customers suspected something amiss when one guy pulled out his whopper. They knew for sure when he began partaking of fur burger. The upshot was four people trying to make an adult movie in a fast food outlet ended up getting arrested, says Friday (5/2).

Arrested in the case earlier this month for indecent exposure and obstruction of business were Kunikazu Ishii, 52, the director, Nahoko Shimada, 21, an actress and dental nurse, and actors Yuya Ochiai, 29, and Makoto Nishizumi.

Saitama Prefectural Police say the four spent about 30 minutes one afternoon in January this year filming an adult movie in the McDonald's Higashi Matsuyama Itoyokado outlet in Higashi Matsuyama, Saitama Prefecture. They were allegedly caught after another customer called the police and told cops what was supposedly going on.

"(Shimada) came into the restaurant holding hands with Ochiai. But Ochiai didn't look the type good enough to pick up a woman like her, so I thought something fishy was going on," a customer in the store at the time of the incident tells Friday. "It was even more suspicious because there was one young woman surrounded by all those much older guys."

The group apparently took up a corner counter not easily visible to serving staff and went about their purportedly pornographic proclivities.

Ochiai apparently spent the time with his hands up Shimada's skirt as he displayed his deft handiwork, Ishii did the filming and Nishizumi acted as a barrier and barked out orders to participants -- so the cops say, anyway.

When police did arrive on the scene, the group had allegedly been filming inside the restaurant for about half an hour. Each of the four suspects was led away individually and taken to a nearby cop station in a different patrol car.

Adult movie experts say the arrests are a sign of the times.

"Filming that way is basically like screaming out to the cops: 'Hey, come and arrest me,'" an industry insider tells Friday.

An adult movie production company associate adds his two bits.

"They probably did something that stupid because they wanted to cut production costs," the associate says.

"Putting the actress's wages aside, 10 years ago most cheap adult movies had a budget of about 1 million yen, but now that figure is more likely to be 500,000 yen or, in really bad cases, only around 300,000 yen. If you've only got 300,000 yen to work with, there'll be no room to book a studio or hotel room once you've rented the filming equipment and paid the guys' wages. So that's probably why they filmed in the fast food restaurant."

Most adult movie actresses are usually the highest paid workers on each flick. Though that was likely to have been the case with this movie, too, starlet Shimada was hardly likely to have been raking in big bucks (at least in cash terms).

"Women acting in these cheap adult flicks usually get paid around 70,000 yen per movie, but some may only get as little as 20,000 yen. Nearly all the women who act in these kinds of movies have a real job and do it as a sideline. There are nurses, stage actresses and members of the Self-Defense Forces," the associate tells Friday.

"Shimada's main job was a dental nurse. She only started appearing in a few adult movies from December last year, so she's basically a complete amateur. Now she's been arrested, her chosen part-time profession has ended up costing her quite a lot." (By Ryann Connell)

Cops take a crack at closing the doors (and legs) at Osaka panty-flashing clubs

"OK, so the cafe didn't have all the right documents filled in. Still, it was only a panty flashing place, so it came as a real shock to hear that arrests had been made there. This business is going to become harder and harder to get by in," the operator of a cabaret club in Osaka's Nanba district says to lowbrow men's weekly Shukan Jitsuwa (5/1).

The operator is talking about an Osaka Prefectural Police raid that shut down P-Doll Umeda Nakadori, a panchira kissa or panty flashing cafe, which now has the dubious honor of being the first of its type to be targeted by vice cops in Japan.

"Operator Issaku Ebata was arrested for breaking the Businesses Affecting Public Morals Regulation Law by (allegedly) operating an unauthorized establishment," a reporter for a national daily tells Shukan Jitsuwa. "He opened his first place in (the Osaka entertainment district of) Minami and the new style of sexy service his place offered was incredibly popular. The Umeda place he opened last summer was also doing really well and was always packed to the rafters on weekends."

Osaka Prefecture is currently home to about 20 panty flashing cafes, where punters pay for a beer or coffee served by waitresses clad in skimpy uniforms who deliberately show off glimpses of their undergarments ... and more.

"All of the waitresses wore maid's outfits where the hems of the miniskirts were just 10 centimeters from between their legs. There were mirrors set up all throughout the cafe and if the waitresses moved their hips even slightly they would be flashing their panties in a way that was viewable from a multitude of angles," a regular at one of Ebata's establishments tells the weekly.

That wasn't the only kind of service Ebata's cafes were offering, either.

"For a 500 yen tip, customers could get a fishing rod they were allowed to use to raise the waitresses' skirts and then use a magnifying glass to get a really close look at their knickers," another regular tells Shukan Jitsuwa. "Some girls would even change their panties in front of customers for the right price." (I LOL'd)

The business model was serving the entrepreneur well.

"The cafes were making about 12 million yen a month, which is in the same league as most hostess clubs. But it was clear that these places were not your ordinary, everyday cafes and that seems to have been what turned authorities' eyes toward them," the newspaper reporter says.

Attracting attention with a bawdy business probably wasn't the smartest thing the operator could have done. For the past few years Osaka cops have clamped down on adult-oriented businesses, especially in the Umeda district.

"Pink salons (handjob bars) have basically been run out of town. Even those places that are still in business have taken up self-restraining measures like refraining from advertising in the papers or updating their Websites, which in turn means they're attracting even fewer customers," the hack tells Shukan Jitsuwa. "Some pink salons have turned themselves into regular hostess bars, but the cops are still picking them up. A 73-year-old Argentine man who fathered two children with a young daughter he kept as his sexual prisoner will serve 16 years in prison himself.

Prosecuting Attorney Sergio Antin said the case of Eleuterio Soria had similarities to that of Josef Fritzl, the Austrian man arrested last month for locking his daughter in a basement for 24 years.

"If we're talking about sexual subjugation, and we take into account that the victim did not leave the house, yes, there are similarities" to the Fritzl case, government prosecutor Sergio Antin said after Soria was sentenced on Wednesday.

Soria's trial revealed that he began abusing his daughter in 1992, when she was 12 years old. The following year she became pregnant by her father, prompting her mother to leave their home in La Matanza, a working-class Buenos Aires district. The family's five other siblings eventually left as well.

The daughter, whose name was not released, had a second child by her father in 1997. Unlike Fritzl, Soria used psychological domination rather than physical restraints to keep her in the house. She fled on various occasions, but would return home after he threatened their two children - often at gunpoint.

She finally escaped for good in 2003 and denounced her father to authorities. Argentine psychologists weren't surprised that it took her more than a decade to tell authorities.

"If the world inside was so perverted, how could she think that the world beyond would help her?" Cristina Castillo, a family psychologist in Buenos Aires, asked.

Shame also keeps incest victims from coming forward, said Maria Elen Leuzzi, founder of Help for Rape Victims, who believes the problem is much bigger than society is willing to admit.

"Here we have many Josef Fritzls," she said.

A Sydney exhibition featuring photographs of naked 12 and 13 year olds has been shut down as police investigate its legality.

The exhibition, by Australian photographer Bill Henson, was scheduled to open at 6pm (AEST) on Thursday at Roslyn Oxley9 gallery in Paddington, in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

It includes large photographic prints of topless children, one of which was included on the opening night invitation.

The images angered a child protection group, which labelled them child pornography, but artists and gallery patrons view the shutdown as "censorship" of genuine art.

They want to speak with a girl featured in the photos before making a decision on whether it will go ahead.

Specialist child exploitation detectives have also referred the gallery's website, which also featured images from the exhibition, to the nation's media watchdog.

"Police have spoken to the photographer and gallery owners," Rose Bay police Superintendent Allan Sicard told reporters outside the gallery.

"As a result of this conversation, all parties have agreed the exhibition will be temporarily closed to allow further inquiries to be made.

"These inquiries include speaking to the subject of these photos and her parents.

"Once these inquiries have been made, a decision will be made on the future of the exhibition.

"Meanwhile, child exploitation internet detectives are reviewing the content of the gallery's website and have referred the matters to the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA)."

A spokeswoman for the gallery told AAP it was hoped the exhibition would go ahead.

"Everyone is entitled to their own opinion," she said.

"It is a beautiful show."

However, Hetty Johnston, founder and executive director of Bravehearts, a child sexual assault action group, called for Mr Henson and the gallery to be prosecuted.

"It's child exploitation, it's criminal activity and it should be prosecuted, both the photographer Bill Henson ... but also the gallery because these are clearly images that are sexually exploiting young children," Ms Johnston said.

"They are clearly illegal child pornography images. It's not about art at all. It's a crime and I hope they are prosecuted."

Ann Elias, a senior art lecturer at the University of Sydney, was among those arriving at the venue to find it closed.

"It's another infringement of the freedom of expression and it's just not acceptable," she said, labelling the cancellation a disgrace.

Another gallery patron, Stephen Graham, said he felt uncomfortable with the adult portrayal of children but denied the exhibition should be shut down.

"This is artistic censorship," he said.

"It's the magazines and advertisers that they should be targeting."

ACMA earlier confirmed it was acting on a formal complaint about the content of the gallery's website.

"We have received a complaint and we have commenced an investigation," ACMA media manager Donald Robertson said.

Mr Robertson said it appeared website was hosted overseas, making it more difficult to order the images be removed.

However, late on Thursday the images had been removed from the website and the site had crashed. (LOL ppl prolly overloaded the server downloading the pictures)

Democrats leader Lyn Allison instigated a Senate inquiry into the sexualisation of children in the media which is due to report next month.

"I think it is shocking and confronting, but I am torn on this I have to say because I was an art teacher and I am very reluctant to want to censor what artists do and a lot of artists do want to be confronting, to raise issues, and in some ways, this does that," Senator Allison told Macquarie Radio.

She said they were beautiful photographs "if you take away the content".

Earlier this month, there was community outrage following the publication of images showing a topless 16-year-old model sharing a bath with a 15-year-old male model in Russh Australia magazine.
