The 57-year-old fornicating fortuneteller with a penchant for wearing sunglasses and military fatigues is now under arrest for intimidation after allegedly bullying at least one of the 11 women who made up his “harem” into joining him in their home in the Tokyo suburb of Higashi Yamato.

Shibuya, however, at first vehemently denied the allegation, with Flash quoting him telling cops that he had “woven a spell to make me popular with women and for some reason it worked.”

Of Shibuya’s 11 “wives” — and they had all been married to him for various periods at one stage or another — 10 were in their 20s and the remaining woman in her 50s.

All the women worked at part-time jobs, mostly in the retail sector. They all returned home at 5 p.m. and gathered together as a group to partake in the evening meal.

“He always took at least two or three of the women with him whenever he went shopping. Some of the women wore really flashy clothes that showed off their belly buttons, while others would wear white gloves even in the middle of summer,” one neighbor tells Flash.

Another neighbor adds that they thought Shibuya’s harem was “actually a waitresses’ dormitory.”

When she asked about her current relationship, Shibuya told her it was doomed, but she faced an even greater danger. He then told her that if she wanted to know more about the threat to her future, she should come back for another session the following week.

“I was really scared, and I was really angry that he was putting me through all this,” Miss A says. “I started crying.”

Miss A burst out of the room and rushed home, ignoring the curry meal that Shibuya’s “wives” had prepared for her.

“I told myself that I was never going back there again,” Miss A tells Flash. “When I saw the news of Shibuya’s arrest, I was relieved all over again about not having returned.”
