Title rematch moved forward

The Denkaosan Kaovichit v Takefumi Sakata rematch in Japan has been moved forward to December 24, Denkaosan's promoter Narit Singwangcha said yesterday.
Narit said the mandatory fight was rescheduled from the proposed December 31 date because of TV time in Japan. The bout will also be televised live on Thai TV Channel 7.
It will be the second time for Denkaosan to try to win the WBA flyweight title from the Japanese champion after a controversial draw last November.
To be better prepared, Denkaosan (48-1-1, 18KOs) will be coached by former WBA junior bantamweight champion Khaosai Galaxy.
In another development, Congo-born Hesus Singwangcha is scheduled to meet Filipino Bobby Pacquiao for the WBO Asia Pacific lightweight title in Dubai on October 24.
