Shrikant Atre has over 26 years of experience in Engineering and IT. He has worked for 6+ years in Japan in various capacities of Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development and has handled large off-shore IT projects from on-site. He has offered jobs to over 100 bilingual resources through his contacts in India and Japan. Mr. Atre writes for newspapers eSakal, The Japan Times etc. He has written several articles featuring issues related to Japan. He is a founder and life member of Association of Friends of Japan (AFJ) Pune, an NGO dedicated to cultural and business promotion activities. Under Mr. Atre’s guidance the Okayama Pune Friendship initiative was taken up by AFJ Pune. NHK has interviewed him for his commendable efforts in this regards. Mr. Atre has a passion about Japan and is he is a founder Director of Japan-Mitra Consulting Services.

 

 

Swati Atre learned her Japanese language lessons by watching TV serials while her 4 year long stay in Japan. She knows by her experience that if a sincere effort is done, anyone at any age can learn this most difficult language in the world. From her own experience Mrs. Atre knows that the children at a tender age can learn Japanese very well through efforts like Kumonshiki teaching and thus JMCS idea was born in her mind. JMCS did this initiative for almost 2 years in Pune with No profit No loss principles. She has taken initiatives in offering cultural services and home stay to various Japanese Native people who visit Pune. Mrs. Atre is currently handling the Administration of JapanMitra and is also a Founder Director of the organization.
