Porno world speads its legs and shoots out a few secrets

Japan's adult video industry naturally survives because of its willingness to bare it all, but it has managed to keep a number of secrets about its stars, according to Shukan Jitsuwa (9/25).

Now being driven in a different manner, demure starlet Misato Sugihara once worked as a trucker, driving a 4-ton vehicle equipped with a crane. But she toppled the truck four times and was fired, creating an opening for her in the world of stick flicks.

Anna Himenogu had problems with her opening. Known for her high speed thrusts and rapid movements, the porn actress was warned by her doctors that continuing in her line of work would rupture her ovaries. She has ignored the orders and continues to work in the AV field.

Payments for Japanese adult video actresses can vary upon the type of flick they appear in. Norika Atejisu was once a regular employee of moviemaker V&R Planning, but turned her hand to appearing before the cameras, doing so for as little as 10,000 yen per movie. Unknown actresses who perform in a single movie are usually paid somewhere from 50,000 yen to 70,000 yen, but some will show up for less than a single 10,000 yen note.

Top blue movie actresses such as Nao Oikawa, however, can command as much as 5 million yen per flick if they're reasonably well known, according to Shukan Jitsuwa.

Japan's highest paid porn starlet is Maria Takagi, who signed a deal with a company called Max A that paid her 300 million yen -- she does, however, have to perform in 30 flicks to claim the full amount.

Though they probably pooh-pooh the idea, actresses appearing in scatology videos are ordered to eat as much yogurt as they possibly can in the hour before their filming starts.

Outdoor location film shoots for exhibitionist videos never takes place before a meeting is held where an explanation is given of escape routes in the case of police raids and a meeting point for later.

Reishinobu, one of Japan's biggest producers of adult movies, was deliberately chosen as the company name because it can also be read as Reinin, the Japanese pronunciation of Lenin, the Russian revolutionary who founded the Soviet Union.

Being the Japanese AV world, there is a fair deal of warped secrets out there, too. Nanako Sawaguchi produced a series of works that focused on fetishes for a particular body part. While making her work on the anus, she discovered her sphincter has 35 wrinkles and subsequently gave the video the title "Josei Kaibo: Oshiri no Shiwa ha 35 hon (Female Autopsy: 35 Wrinkles on the Bottom)."

Some in the AV world have also showed an enterprising knack for business. Legendary starlet Yuri Komuro collaborated in the development of a perfume developed from the smell that built up in a pair of panties she wore without changing for several days in a row. The fragrance was named Asoko, a Japanese word meaning "there" and used as a euphemism for the genitals.

While on the topic, Chocoball Mukai, one of the country's most famous adult video actors, earned his name because of his deep tan, which covered his entire body, including his testicles, when he began in the business after working at a tanning salon.

Virginity also plays a part in the video netherworld, with director Tarzan Yagi having his cherry plucked on the job. It was a similar situation, according to Shukan Jitsuwa, for Mami Aizawa, currently one of the hottest commodities in the Japanese adult video world. In fact, Aizawa preserved her chastity until her third flick after the first two only required her to first play up her likeness to pop diva Hikaru Utada and the second to show her handiwork on a young man.

Hooray for virgin AV stars!

They should hold competitions: longest time as an AV star without having sex, in a film or out. The virgins may have the upperhand in some cases!

I noticed the comment in the article about the yogurt and I think they are attributing some powers to yogurt which it does not possess. The theory is that yogurt contains active cultures which it does but they are not antibiotic. If you eat feces, you may very well need something more than yogurt to cure you.

I could be completely wrong here but that makes the most sense. If someone knows, please tell us more.

For some people, eating copious amounts of dairy, such as yogurt, makes the feces more runny. Might be useful in a scat movie.

I think what I found most interesting about the article was Yuri Komuro's "Asoko" perfume... Never thought that used panties would smell nice, not to mention make a fragrance out of it... It's hard to believe that actually happened, I can just picture the comments...

"oh, what a wonderful omanko smell you have!"

A perfume?!?!?

Japan can be very weird sometimes.
