NS Rules! Can't wait for NS2.
-------------------- It's not an easy balance to achieve, but we do want to make a game that will be both the best competitive game since Starcraft and also one that many people can enjoy casually without being in a clan or an experienced or knowledgeable NS player. That's the goal at least! In game name - Tilde |

Congratulations to Half-Life, and of course to one of my favorite mods: Natural-Selection! You've really earned the first position in this list!

Congrats on NS being at the top of that list. they have been a good 10 years, and hopefully we have another good 10 ahead. I remember when I stumbled upon NS, I downloaded it and jumped in, and was a confused marine who got kicked from the server in under 30 seconds. It took me days to try again.
P.S. HURRY WITH NS2!!! I'm going to play NS1 to get my fix |

I feel there wasn't even much of a contest among the non-commercial mods. Specialists, ESF and Sven Co-op are all fun, but in no way as professional looking and feeling as NS.
Congrats on the whole dev team. The contrast between NS and the rest of the non commercial mods shows how great work you've been doing with this game. |

As I said in the other thread (yeah, Flayra, you are late!
The scenes they picked for ns in that video aren't really good imho. No crazy dodging lerks/fades or wallhopping skulks and no big fight with different classes in a big room. |

Cheers! I'd say you made the best Mod of any game, commercial or not.

Actually it doesn't surprise me. Third party mods have certainly dropped off since NS was created. Congratulations though devs, you deserve it.
