After concerts in five domes in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, Arashi announced their overseas concerts in Korea and Shanghai. Arashi has hold successful concerts in Korea in 2006 and the second overseas tour will cover 8 concerts in 4 cities with intending 173, 000 participants. As the first concert presented by Johnny's artists in Shanghai, the Arashi concert arrests the attention from Sino-Jap fans and undoubteddly it sparked new interest of Shanghai public in this Nov.

 

Since the group's debut on September, 1999, Arashi has released ten albums (which includes eight studio albums and two compilation albums) and twenty-one singles. By 2006, their album, Arashic, was released not only in Japan, but in Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand as well. The group's latest single is "Step and Go", which despite the lack of direct tie-ins, debuted at number one on the Japanese charts and sold over 100,000 copies on its first day and more than 300,000 on its first week. Arashi covers a wide range of music, including R&B, hip hop and various forms of pop music. Aside from being a popular idol group in Japan, the group is widely known across Asia and to J-pop fans all over the world.
