WOW! by u11241897135181 on September 29th, 2008, 7:24am

These are short stories not to be trifled with, every page is so carefully planned without throwing anything in your face and I have no idea how this author can make these short stories contain so much with so little space. I'm a bit beyond impressed to be honest. I'm very glad I had this recommended to me. Incredible, just incredible. And that's just the opinion on the stories, the art is good but that's usually a minor point for me and it is here too. But pretty nonetheless.

The art is better than the stories... by yuri21 on June 11th, 2008, 12:00am

For sure, the ideas behind her stories range from decent to quite good and in Bus Hashiru, the themes are also quite interesting. However, the problem is that her stories(BL or otherwise) sometimes suffer from a lack of depth and can sometimes be far too simple. Though I must say that Hashiru was a bit better than some of her other stories.

In this mangaka's case, the artwork actually breathes quite a bit of life into the characters as well as the plot, adding a touch of gentleness to the story. Yes, she is a mangaka who could be quite promising should her style mature further in the future, though she doesn't as of yet deserve any sort of crowning mantle.

Very good. by bjorie on May 23rd, 2008, 8:01am

I'm amazed at how close you can get to the characters feelings in such a short amount of time. The romance may not be blazing, but apparent in the gestures. Really heartwarming. There is not that you can exactly use to describe why they are such good stories...

Don't like it by Telengard on April 30th, 2008, 4:09pm

This isn't my cup of tea at all. The stories are short, and very simple. There's no plot or continuity that I could discern. Perhaps my sensitivities aren't properly attuned to appreciate this genre, but I didn't notice any romance, or even much character interaction. Most exchanges are very short, and the rest of the time is filled with light introspection.

Feel-good stories by lynzajw on April 2nd, 2008, 9:45am

Bus Hashiru has no stories that make you think "Masterpiece!" or that have amazing, never-before-seen plotlines. But it's still great. You just feel so... good, I guess, after reading it. It's happy, and nice, and there's very little angst. A nice, enjoyable read.

It's Good. by yumemiru on March 24th, 2008, 11:43pm

The art is simple and I think it certainly works for the stories well enough.
The stories, like the art, are simple and sweet, and in my opinion, they make you think.
I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone, because not everyone can understand this manga.

(Now if only I could find Nanairo Sekai).

Enthralling collection of oneshots by bloogal on February 5th, 2008, 4:50am

Finespun story-telling, exquisite artwork and likable characters makes this stick with you long afterwards. It sparked various emotions in me, some which I just can't describe. I like how the author communicates the story to us in a subtle, understated way. I highly recommend that you read the side-story as well.

Nice by JJTang on January 27th, 2008, 1:59am

Really, that's all there is to say. They're just really... Nice. I can't find the words to describe it. Nice is all that comes to mind. The stories just leave such a feeling after reading them. I really enjoyed it, although they were short. This is really what Slice of Life manga are made of. Heartwarming stories.
If you liked Hoshi no Koe, you'll probably like this, and vice versa.
