Elite Todai co-ed gets cherry popped on camera
“Hello, is this the University of Tokyo registrar’s office?”
“Yes it is. How may we help you?”
“I’m a reporter for Friday magazine, and we’d like to confirm that one of your currently enrolled female students is appearing in adult videos.”
“…Well, er, I’m not sure how to respond to that…”
It seems that Friday (12/8) got wind of the upcoming December release of a new movie entitled “The University of Tokyo Virgin Inspection: Painful Entry through the ‘Red Gate,’” from a distributor named @JUNKIE.
The Red Gate (Akamon in Japanese) is the name applied to hallowed entranceway of Japan’s most elite academic institution, among whose graduates include prime ministers and top leaders in business and industry.
The film stars “Ukaru Todaiji” (a pseudonym), age 21, who relinquishes her virginity in the course of her first porn performance. Ms. Todaiji was later introduced on a program broadcast by the commercial satellite channel Sky Perfect on November 24.
“It was the first time in the AV industry’s history that such a performance was attempted,” says Kemuta Otsubo, an AV scenario writer. “Just imagine — a real University of Tokyo co-ed losing her virginity on camera. Todai girls have previously appeared in AV productions, but none had ever lost their virginity like this. It’s mind-boggling.”
While photos accompanying the Friday story only show the well-endowed young woman from the neck down, the reporter, who met her in the flesh, describes the 21-year-old student as having an “innocent” facial expression and 90cm bustline that tests the tensile strength of the buttons on her blouse.
Nevertheless Ms. Todaiji apparently has brains as well as boobs; she reportedly scored a perfect 200 on her English-language entrance exams. Looking around for some part-time work, her eyes fell on a classified ad seeking models. She was at first flustered to find that the job involved disrobing and engaging in sex before a camera, but when she was told the size of the… remuneration, she rationalized her decision, saying it would contribute to the cost of her education.
“I was unfamiliar with the ways of the world, and wanted to change myself,” she says, explaining why she made to the decision to take the job.
Ms. Todaiji is apparently the third Todai co-ed to appear in such a film. The first, who went under the professional name Midori Kuwana, appeared in the 1992 production, “A Woman in the Top Institution Makes Her Debut.” The second was “Meet Mako Takada, A Sophomore at the University of Tokyo,” released in 2001.
“She (Takada) showed her student ID in the film, which indicated she was in the Faculty of Humanities,” recalls a male graduate of the institution. “Several dozen guys jammed into one of her classes so they could get a closer look at her in the flesh.”
What’s more, the audacious Ms. Takada coupled with her male counterpart while actually on the Todai campus, leading infuriated school administrators to file a vigorous protest with the AV producer.
A spokesperson for the institution tells Friday that the school subsequently adopted measures to protect the names “Todai” and “University of Tokyo” from similar instances of callous commercialization.
“But in the case of the previous two films, we were unable to determine the actual identities of the females involved, so we couldn’t take any action against them,” he says.
Aha, notes Friday. This time, since the student’s face appears in the film, finding out who she is should be a breeze. But on the other hand, the school has no authority to tell students what kind of part-time jobs they may or may not pursue, so expulsion or suspension don’t appear to be an option. In the meantime, the controversy continues to rage, both inside and outside the institution’s famed “Red Gate.” (By Masuo Kamiyama, People’s Pick contributor)
