Pros: -Genuine DSTT card (verified by myself).-Price is amazing.-The team still make updates.-Everything i tried (homebrew, games...) works.
Cons: -Build quality is good, but not as good as the best flashcards i tried.-The card force the autoboot for your DS, some people may think it's cool, but i rather prefer to access the menu before.
Other Thoughts: Like others person said: At this price you can't go wrong, it's an excellent flash card to begin with.
Bottomline: If you want a cheap Flashcard for your DS, but with all the functionality of a modern one. Take this one, it's a real good deal.
Pros: - It's not a fake! (as according to TTDS's web site) - It works great (I took the memory card from one of the older cards I got from DX and stuck it in there and it worked no problem) - It supports MicroSDHC cards (I'm using a 4 GB Kingston MicroSDHC and a 2GB non HC and they both work great) - Price keeps getting better!
Cons: - Doesn't always want to pop out of the NDS easily (but then again, how often do you need to remove it when you can load 100+ games at once!) - Spring for the MicroSD card doesn't always work reliably - No CD with the software, you have to download and install it your self
Other Thoughts: I haven't tried the latest firmware, but I've had no problems with games yet!
Bottomline: There's lots of support online for this flash cart, and with this price, I think it's the best one around! Make sure you have a MicroSDHC compatible memory card reader though, since this doesn't come with one!
Pros: Wow, a very cheap DSTT that's actually is real. It's spring loaded slot it good and holds in the micro sd in well. The menu is highly skinnable with literally hundreds on skins out there, roms load and save fairly fast but not as fast as the Itouch Ds. Although it boots straight into the DSTT menu, you can go to "gba mode" thats boots the GBA cartridge if you have one in, thats handy.
Cons: The menu is a little slow, some games take around 30 secs to load! (E.G. Pokemon Platinum)
Other Thoughts: Wow its cheap, im buying more just to resell lol.
Bottomline: If you need a flashcart just to play games and some homebrew without worrying about load times or full compatibility then this is for you, cheap and absolutely does what its meant to.
Pros: VERY low price.Genuine.With YSmenu, brilliant.Pretty well made.SDHC compatible.
Cons: The menu is vile. It searches the entire card and lists every ROM in every folder in a one single not completely predictable long list. The solution is to replace the official DSTT firmare with YSmenu which I always intended to do so for me it is not exactly a con. YS is just much better on the DSTT.Slower to startup compared to my R4 and EDGE but again, not a real problem.Skinning requires 43 files (forty-three)!The spring. Only comes in white.
Other Thoughts: The ease-of-use is reduced because of the need (in my opinion) to replace the firmware. The first time I turned it on it wasn't detected. I cleaned all the contacts and then it was OK.For the reviewer who said there is no media player Moonshell for the DSTT is available on the DSTT site. For the reviewer who said it only recognizes games in the root of the card, it doesn't, it just looks like it does. (see cons).
Bottomline: It plays a ROM as well as any flash card around.Get one and then use a better menu.
