Partick Thistle moved to second in the standings with a win while Morton remain rooted to the foot of the table.
Thistle took the lead after 37 minutes when Gary Harkins headed home a Mark Roberts chip from six yards.
With the Jags napping before half time, Morton striker Iain Russell burst through to level.
Thistle regained the lead when McKeown's corner was flicked on by David Rowson for Ian Maxwell to dive in and bundle a header over the line.
