Alien, either your obtuse or in denial either way you are wrong…. Racism exists in EVERY country.

Of the Asians I have met personally the majority are some of the MOST racist people on the face of the planet, they even beat out most of the redneck asses that live in the south.

Folks I lived in Thailand for nearly 15 years. They are VERY racist… This commercial only shows how stupid they are about the world. But I thought it was HILARIOUS!!!!

So the ADS make it that mom maybe afraid because of he look “Strange” not black!!!

The toothpaste look strange but it can be good, understand ?

Everyone’s a little bit racist sometimes
Doesn’t mean we go around committing hate crimes
Look around and you will find
No one’s really color blind
Maybe it’s a fact we all should face
Everyone makes judgments based on race

So, everyone’s a little bit racist, Okay!
Ethnic jokes might be uncouth

Ethnic jokes might be uncouth
But you laugh because they’re based on truth
Don’t take them as personal attacks
Everyone enjoys them… so relax!

If we all could just admit
That we are racist a little bit
Even though we all know that it’s wrong
Maybe it would help us get along

Pandomanium, I partly agree with you as I aslo believe the point was to tell people not to judge upon external appearance. Just because this ad uses racism as trigger doesn’t mean it is racist to me too. So as far as that point I have no problem with this commercial.

But then what realy disturbs me is the fact that it somehow says “we all agree, black people are dangerous savage, we better keep our kids away… BUT because our toothpaste is black doesn’t mean it’s bad as them.” There is the hidden racism.

My goodness Pandamonium, you’re bendin’ your little self over backwards to be so Gawd-damn understandin’ of the little brown toothpaste man babe. Maybe I’ll have you for my next playmate – if I need someone who’s not a challenge intellectually.

A lot of us agree about gravity also – does that make us sheep or do you think something here is patently clear?... more >

A lot of us agree about gravity also – does that make us sheep or do you think something here is patently clear?

By the way I’m still not going to stick that brown crap in my mouth – no matter how many kindly black men bring balloons down poles for me. How ’bout you?

One question – why didn’t they just show someone cleaning their teeth with it? Hmmm.

It’s a Thai commercial. I live in Thailand. The darker your skin in Thailand, the lower class you are…with Africans being at the bottom of the food chain. It is racist.

Anyone notice the man’s shirt – spears (like for hunting?) or phallic symbol. I suppose it portrays the man has a kind, yet unappreciated and misunderstood beast. At the very end it likens the man to toothpaste, something very disposable. Not as much racist as just lacking in coherence.

I really don’t see how this is racist. To all of you little sheep who are like “omgz how do we still allow this, this is unacceptable,” think about it this way. It’s making all of those racist mothers look like dumbasses because he was helping the kids and they ran off. Also, the toothpaste is brown, and the point they’re trying to make is don’t judge it til... more >

It’s not racist, just racial. The mom is the racist. From my perspective, the black guy is the hero. But seriously, they are only speaking the truth. Damn whiteys.

You see the brown tooth paste (BLACK GGGGGUY) to most would seem like its going to be horrible, terrifying, and just plain ol’ disgusting. But it actually is going to help you out and get your balloons stuck on stadium/highway lamps and make everything all better in your mouth if you let it. You just gotta let the black man in your mouth baby.

In Asia many believe Black people have really nice smiles and very white teeth. In fact there is still a Taiwanese Toothpaste called “Hei Ren” Toothpaste, which means “Black Person” Toothpaste. And it sports a Smiling black man on the cover. The English name on the toothpaste up until the 80s was Darkie toothpaste, until Colgate bought the company. ... more >
