♥ Kaitlyn ♥ is a four year old with a passion for life! She enjoys singing, dancing, swimming, games, puzzles, playing with her daddy, reading with her mommy, and smothering her baby brother with kisses! Kaitlyn is also an avid reader. She learned to read at 2 years old and started Kindergarten at the age of 3. Her favorite books include Bible stories, American Girl books, Charlotte's Web, Fairy Tales, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and anything to do with Disney princesses!
Just after her fourth birthday, Kaitlyn was asked to audition for the hit NBC show "America's Got Talent" Season 3. Up until this show, Kaitlyn had only sung for friends and family and had never sung on stage. She had only two goals for the audition process: do her best and have fun -- both of which she accomplished in spades! Kaitlyn loves singing. She has never had any voice lessons, but ever since she was one year old has sung everything from Christmas carols to songs in church to patriotic songs familiar to all. You can find a few clips of her singing below.
She particularly loves singing for "the old audience" -- the community of retired individuals in the local nursing home nearby where she lives. She's been singing there since the Christmas of 2006 and enjoys her trips there every few weeks or so.
Kaitlyn has always wanted to sing in the Children's Choir at her church, but has to wait until next year (2009) when she turns five and is old enough to join. Until then, she's patiently biding her time eagerly anticipating her birthday next year when she'll officially graduate to the ranks of the "big kids" who get to sing on stage! :) In the meantime she's enjoying sharing music here.
Dear Kaitlyn, I have a 13 yr old daughter named Kaitlyn Scarlett Iles. Her Mom and I as well as Kaitie are roooting for you. You remind me so much of her when she was your age.
