Six Wires (Takahiro Inoue) was born in Kyoto, Japan.
I have begun to play the guitar in about 1983.
Afterwards I played guitar in various garage bands.
I moved from Kyoto to Tokyo in 1999.
From its year, I composed and played music for drama in theatrical company "ANGELUS" which is active in Kanazawa city.
Then I appeared for some drama festivals that were held in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Korea. Of course in Japan, too.
At that time, I carried out a various experiment in the performance of the guitar, which blended elements of classic blues guitar with the freakish and disturbed guitar.
My performance is urban noise that was picked up from trash which was thrown away by rationalism in the world.
"TWO NEEDLES AND SIX WIRES" is a duo consisted of Takahiro Inoue and DJ Jet Sonic, and started activity as from 2005.
In March, 2008, we released our first album "TWO NEEDLES AND SIX WIRES".

1983年頃、ギターを始め、地元の色々なローカルバンドでプレイした後、1999年に活動拠点を東京へ移す。
その年から、石川県金沢市で活動する劇団、「ANGELUS」で演劇の音楽を制作、その舞台でもプレイし始める。
それらのなかで、様々な実験的なギタープレイを取り入れ、クラシックブルースと、ひしゃげて荒れ狂ったギターを融合したスタイルでもって、日本のほか、ルーマニア、モルドヴァ、ウクライナや韓国で開かれた演劇フェスティバルに出演。
その演奏は、世の中の合理主義によって捨てられた、ゴミ屑から拾い上げた都会のノイズ。
「two needles and six wires」は、「井ノ上孝浩」 と 「DJ Jet Sonic」 によるユニットで、2005年より活動を開始。
2008年3月に、1stアルバム「two needles and six wires」をリリース。

The self titled "Two Needles and Six Wires" is an experimental and largely improvisational Avant Garde album brought to you by the Japanese duo of Takahiro Inoue and DJ Jet Sonic. The sounds of nature is a big influence in this piece of work. That is about the only normal thing about it. The ride is a wild one with crazy burping guitar sounds, freakish electronic arrangements and an overall disturbed tone. It's kind of like they took extremely pleasant sounds and threw them into a nightmare. Pretty fun if you ask me. Highlights are "Green" with detuned electric guitar over a soundscape, sounding like some strange animal. "Underground" is full of that burping guitar and slippery synths. "Time" features distorted bubble synths and "out there" bluesy guitar. If you like Experimental and Improvisational music, give this one a go.
