Prima's Instant Curry

Tried the instant curry mix from Prima taste in a colleague's house, and decided to buy it to try cooking it at home.
The cooking method is really easy: Just pour the mixes into a pot, add water, chicken, potato and stir (please on the stove, of course). Viola, the curry is done!

The taste is quite good actually. Though a little on the salty side, the coconut taste (from the coconut premix powder) was strong and to my liking. We added a bit of the extra hot chilli powder, as the original is actually quite mild.

Technology is really amazing nowadays :P But like my mother said, very soon, everyone won't know how to make it from scratch anymore... Well, if anyone is willing to teach me how to make this from scratch, I'll be more than willing to learn ^^

Prima is quite good. I have tried their Meesiam mix before. Have some prawns, tau pok, hard-boiled egg, tau-ge and gu-cai to go with the gravy. If you like Mee Siam you should try it... I personally am not crazy over Mee Siam, but I enjoyed Prima version. I topped up with he-be chilli too.. That's blissfulness.

Talking about instant food, I am ready to admit that I have no squirms about admitting to taking the shortcut. Too many failed cooking attempts had me decided that I am not cut out for cooking and it's safest to go with instant mixes. If it tastes bad, at least I can blame it on the brand:p

Nonetheless, I am still hoping that one day I can cook chilli crabs, sour veg duck soup, cold ham chicken, etc... as well as my Mum. I don't think we have mixes for these dishes on the supermarket shelves as yet!
