Motherfarm マザー牧場

日本の牧場に行った！わ！夢じゃない！Ｓさんのおかげで、今回の日本の旅に有名なマザー牧場に行った＾＾ありがとうね、Ｓさん＾＾　運転もお疲れ様でした＞＜　渋滞大変だったね＞＜

牧場の動物が可愛すぎｗｗ　子豚のレース、ツアー、牧羊犬のＳＨＯＷなどなど、全てすごかったｗ　教えたことを全部わからなかったけど、大体理解できるので、楽しかったｗ　シンガポールにこんな近距離に動物と接する機会あまりないね～だからすごくいい経験だったよ＾＾　最後の羊たちかわいそうけど＾＾；　暑すぎて、仕方ないなぁ～羊たち、おつでしたｗ

Never in my life had I expected to visit a farm in Japan. Totally out of my expectations. Thus, I was overjoyed to see a trip to one of the most famous farms in Japan materialize this time! ^^

Mr S has kindly travelled all the way from North to Tokyo to meet us, and even rented a car (all expenses paid by him too ><) and drove us to the Mother Farm. The farm is located in Chiba, and it took us almost 2 hours to reach there from Kawasaki. (there was a jam due to the numerous heavy vehicles in the industrial area)

When we arrived at the farm, it was almost 1pm. We had a quick lunch at the cafe, and though I didn't take pictures, the lamb sandwich was really good. There wasn't much of the lamby smell, and the patties (there were 2) were soft and juicy.

The first event that await us was the piglet race. We didn't finish the whole race though; the weather was really too hot and we decided we had to leave for the farm tour. However, the piglets were really cute :P


The farm tour was amazing ^^ The guide was lively and she fed us with lots of information, though I only managed to catch part of it since everything was in Japanese. ^^; The farm animals were cute beyond words, though some were strange (like a sneezing Arubaka... Don't ask me what this is in English :P) I had lots of fun taking pictures and feeding them ^^ Felt like a kid again, nya :P

One of the highlights of the tour was the sheep herding demo by the dog. I felt kind of sorry for the poor sheep who were panting and running circles as the dog chased them round and round^^; But it was an eye opener to see them live in action^^



Oh, and forgot to introduce the first cow we met at the farm. A Holstein, cute, isn't it? ^^
