Sexual experience among girls on the rise, but abortions decline

TOKYO — Amid a flood of biased information about sex, an epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases and increases in sex crimes, the Japan Society of Adolescentology is tackling the problem of teenage sex and how to protect their health.

In a survey about the sexual behavior of young people conducted by the Japanese Association for Sex Education since 1974, Kazuo Katase, a professor at Tohoku Gakuin University, said, "Since the 1990s, girls have been more sexually active, narrowing the gap between men and women."

"This is chiefly because of social influences such as the popularization of the Internet and mobile phones," he said at a recent meeting of the society at Jikei University in Tokyo.

The association has been conducting surveys of 5,000 junior and senior high school and university students across the country every six years, and the most recent survey was conducted in 2005.

The rate of sexual experiences among senior high school and university students has increased from 1974 to 1999, with the rate among boys higher than among girls. But the rate among male university students, which stood at 63% in 1999, declined to 61% in 2005, and the rate among male senior high school students was 27% in both years.

On the other hand, the rate among female university students went up from 51% in 1999 to 61 percent in 2005, and among female senior high school students from 24% to 30%.

The 2005 survey also found that the increased use of cell phone emails has led to more sexual activity.

Yukihiro Murase, a lecturer at Hitotsubashi University, said, ;The pattern that boys are active and girls are passive in sexual behavior remains unchanged. The importance is the changes in the consciousness of boys, who are likely to get biased information about sex from adult videos and other sources."

Shoichi Onodera, a professor at Jikei University, reported on the conditions of sexually transmitted diseases and said, "There are many asymptomatic people who do not visit medical institutions."

In a survey of about 5,000 senior high school students, 13% of girls and 7% of boys were infected with asymptomatic Chlamydia.

According to a survey by a research team at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, there were requests such as "I want to check at home," "I don't want my parents to know" and "I want a consultation by mobile phone."
Onodera said, "It is necessary to have medical institutions in each area that young people can easily visit for checkups, and a contact point, where they can consult about checkup methods, including consultations by email."

Meanwhile, the abortion rate among teenagers appears to be decreasing. Since the peak year of 1955, when there were about 1.17 million cases of abortion domestically, abortion has been decreasing.

But abortion among teenagers began to increase sharply in the mid-1990s. In 1995, the rate of abortion among girls aged 15 to 19 was 6.2 per 1,000, but it more than doubled to 13.0 in 2001. However, since 2002 the rate has been decreasing and was 9.6 in 2005.

Kunio Kitamura, director of the Japan Family Planning Association Clinic, and others carried out a survey of about 800 obstetrics and gynecological facilities across the country in January this year, and 72% of them replied that the rate of abortion has decreased among women under 20 years old.
The decrease was attributed to the popularization of emergency contraception, popularly known as the morning-after pill which can be taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse to avoid pregnancy, and the "effects of sex education."

Kitamura said, "To decrease the rate of overall abortion not limited to teenagers, the popularization of low-dose birth control pills, or oral contraceptives, and emergency contraception is necessary."

Police arrest gang member for making runaway girls work as hostesses

A gang member and three other people have been arrested on suspicion of making two girls who ran away from home work as hostesses at a bar on Amami Oshima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, Tokyo police said Wednesday.

Arrested were 28-year-old Toshihide Sugisawa, a member of a gang affiliated with the Yamaguchi-gumi crime syndicate, and three other people including the manager of a bar in Amami.

Police accuse the four of violating the Child Welfare Law.

"We wanted to boost our sales," the bar manager was quoted as saying when questioned by police.

The four allegedly made two girls aged between 14 and 15 work as hostesses at the bar between May and June this year. (Mainichi)

Teacher arrested over indecent behavior with high school girl

HIRATSUKA, Kanagawa -- A teacher who engaged in indecent acts with a high school girl on several occasions, including in a car parked at a shopping mall, was arrested on Wednesday, police said.

The teacher, 47-year-old Yukihiro Harada, a member of Kanagawa Prefectural Hiratsuka Commercial High School in Hiratsuka, was arrested on suspicion of violating a Kanagawa prefectural ordinance on the upbringing of children.

The schoolgirl said she wanted the teacher to reflect on his actions.

"There are some things I shouldn't have done, but I want the teacher to reflect on his actions too," investigators quoted the schoolgirl as saying.

Investigators said that on three occasions between December 2006 and February 2007, Harada went skiing with the female student, who was 17 at the time. He allegedly engaged in obscene acts with her at a hotel in Minamiuonuma, Niigata Prefecture.

On the evening of June 9, 2007, he allegedly engaged in indecent behavior with her in a car parked in a shopping mall parking lot in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture. He has reportedly admitted to the allegations against him. (Mainichi)

I think that makes a lot of sense actually, especially with the amount that Japanese text rather than talk. Makes soliciting sex more laid-back and certainly more private.

As for the declining abortion rate... that's hard for me to believe. I'm sure it's true, but with all the girls I have met and the stories I have heard...

An Osaka court was told that the 31-year-old man, who worked for an online clothing sales company, had given the company president a box of sweets as a mark of gratitude after landing the job, the English-language Asahi Shimbun said.

Many Japanese maintain a tradition of sending gifts to important business contacts in summer and winter.

When the employee realised his boss had left the gift unopened under his desk, he smashed 22 computers in the office with a truncheon, the paper said.

No one was injured.

The man pleaded guilty to charges of obstructing business with force, the paper said.

"I wish the company president had cared a little more," the paper quoted the employee's lawyer as saying.

Prosecutors said the employer had been too busy to open the gift, the paper said.

A 17-year-old schoolgirl who burned down her 32-year-old Tokyo lover's apartment has been arrested, police said.

The second year private high school student, who can't be named because she is a minor, was arrested for arson of an inhabited structure.

The girl admits to the allegations against her, saying it was sparked by her feelings for her 32-year-old company employee lover of over two years.

"He had adult DVDs and a note with another woman's name on it that made me mad," police quoted the schoolgirl as saying.

She is apparently apologetic.

"I've done something terrible," she said.

Her boyfriend has pledged to support her.

"I suppose I've got to think about her feelings, too, and I'm thinking about marriage," the 30-something salaryman said.

Police said the girl set fire to candy wrappers in a trash can in the man's apartment in Suginami-ku, Tokyo, on the morning of Sept. 20, gutting the 17-square-meter room in which it was located. The boyfriend was out at the time, but the girl suffered minor burns.

The couple had lived together in Osaka Prefecture for the past two years, but had been torn apart when the man was transferred to Tokyo in April. Since then, the schoolgirl had traveled up from Osaka to meet him. There had been talk of the couple separating. On the night before the arson, the schoolgirl torched an adult movie she found in the man's apartment.

Pedophile 'superstar' school vice principal fired for child prostitution

SAPPORO -- An elementary school vice principal under arrest over child prostitution has been dismissed, local education authorities said.

The Sapporo Municipal Board of Education decided at an extraordinary meeting Wednesday to fire Takayuki Hosoda, 54, vice principal of Sapporo Municipal Hoshioki Higashi Elementary School.

"It's extremely regrettable that the vice principal who was supposed to instruct teachers has been arrested. As the one who appointed him, I deeply apologize for the incident from the bottom of my heart," said Fumio Okuoka, who heads the Sapporo Municipal Government's Office of Education.

Hosoda told a high-ranking board official, who visited him at a detention facility where he is being confined, that he wanted the board to punish him at an early date.

"I caused trouble to schoolchildren and the school authority, and damaged the public's confidence in teachers. I regret that," he was quoted as telling the official.

Hosoda is under arrest for violating the Law Punishing Acts Related to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography by paying 6,000 yen to a 16-year-old girl for sex in a car on Sept. 21.

Investigators who raided his home over the crime confiscated hundreds of pornographic DVDs and photos of underage girls. Hosoda received payments totaling about 18 million yen for submissions made to pedophile publications from 2000 to 2007.

Police said they also learned that Hosoda was well-known in pedophile circles, frequently contributing to publications with article or photo submissions.

"I'm really famous among readers of magazines where you can send in pictures," he was quoted as telling acquaintances.

SAPPORO -- An elementary school vice principal arrested for paying underage girls for sex faces an extra charge after a raid on his home unearthed a huge cache of child pornography, police said.

Takayuki Hosoda, 54, vice principal at Sapporo Municipal Hoshioki Higashi Elementary School, was arrested for breaking the Law Punishing Acts Related to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography by allegedly paying a teenage girl for sex.

He faces another count of breaking the same law when police send him to prosecutors accusing him of proliferating child pornography.

A police raid on Hosoda's home netted hundreds of pornographic photos and movies of underage girls and he received payments totaling about 18 million yen for submissions made to pedophile publications during the period from 2000 to 2007, where he used the alias Aspirin Snow.

"I'm really famous among readers of magazines where you can send in pictures," he was quoted as telling acquaintances.

Police said the case for which Hosoda was arrested involved him paying a 16-year-old unemployed girl 6,000 yen in cash for sex in a car on the night of Sept. 21. Police said the elementary school vice principal had met the girl in an "encounter cafe" frequently used by singles looking for a partner in Sapporo's Chuo-ku on about Sept. 13 and they had agreed to meet at a later date. Police added that Hosoda frequented the cafe, going there on an almost daily basis.

"I knew she was under 18, but I have no recollection of anything else that happened," police quoted Hosoda as saying after his arrest.

Police raided the vice principal's home following his arrest. They seized 334 DVDs and photos, school uniforms and other belongings. He had images or movies of over 600 underage girls.

Police said they also learned that Hosoda, as Aspirin Snow, was well-known in pedophile circles, frequently contributing to publications with article or photo submissions. And they said Hosoda also took part in a published discussion with one magazine's managing editor about how to seduce young girls and also wrote a column for another pedophile publication.

Police said a check of Hosoda's bank accounts showed various publications had paid him about 18 million yen over the past seven years.

A Japanese deputy head teacher has been arrested for an alleged sex act with a teenager, police said, amid claims he made a small fortune selling child porn pictures to magazines.

Takayuki Hosoda, 54, was arrested in the northern Japanese city of Sapporo on Monday for alleged violation late last month of the law banning child sex and pornography, local police said.

"He allegedly gave a 16-year-old girl 6,000 yen ($59) in cash and engaged in obscene conduct in his car in a parking lot," a police spokesman said.

The Yomiuri and other newspapers said police confiscated hundreds of DVDs, pornographic pictures, handcuffs and school uniforms from his car and home.

Police suspect the teacher made 18 million yen ($176,500) over seven years by selling pornography, including child porn pictures, according to television reports.

Hosoda is the deputy head teacher at a publicly funded elementary school in Sapporo.

School head Yoshiaki Sakamoto told reporters Monday the incident had come as "a bolt from the blue" as there had been no problems with the teacher before.

"He told me he was a photographer for adult magazines. He said he wanted to take some beautiful portraits and needed my help. He told me he'd pay me properly for it. I wasn't too sure, but he said 'You wanna be a model, don't you? You should try lots of things while you're still young,' so I went along with it," an 18-year-old woman tells Shukan Bunshun (10/18).

She was talking about her experiences with Takayuki Hosoda, a 54-year-old elementary school vice principal arrested earlier this month for breaking the law banning child pornography.

Hosoda is accused of luring hundreds of underage girls before his camera and then selling the pictures to child cheesecake magazines for a premium price.

Hosoda apparently had all the latest camera equipment. His typical photo shoot involved going to pick up the girl he'd seduced into posing for him and then taking her straight to a love hotel.

"We first took photos having sex together, then he got me to pose. He gave me lots of instructions like 'Smile' or 'Give a peace sign.' He was kind, so I didn't have any trouble with doing what he asked," the teen says. "That is, until we went into the bath and he asked me to drink my own pee, which I refused to do. After we'd finished, he gave me the 30,000 yen he'd promised and we went home."

Hosoda is accused of taking obscene photos of over 600 underage girls. He also allegedly sent the photos into magazines for the past 16 years, pocketing a handy 18 million yen in the process. The magazines certainly welcomed him.

"He was one of the pioneers of the technique called hamedori, which is taking photos of sex as it happens," an editor of one of the magazines tells Shukan Bunshun. "He'd always send in photos of these beautiful young girls as good-looking as pop idols, so there were people on the production side who were very grateful for his presence."

Hosoda is also purported to have advised readers on how to pick up teenage women, telling them such pearls of wisdom as "look good, speak well and be kind."

Shukan Bunshun notes that Hosoda lured many of his alleged victims from an "encounter cafe" in the Sapporo entertainment district of Susukino.

At first glance, the cafe looks no different to the average manga cafe, but the reality couldn't be further from that. Inside there is a two-way mirror. Men and women have different entrances and the guys can peer through the mirror to see all the women who come in and choose the one's they would like to get to know better. Men pay a 5,000 yen fee to become a member of the cafe and 1,000 yen for every 10 minutes they want to talk with a woman they have selected from the other side of the looking glass. If their chat goes well, the newly minted couple are free to leave the club and do as they like. Entrances to women's waiting rooms are divided between those over 18 and the underaged.

"I'm sure that detail is a service the cafe provides to make sure nobody gets arrested for breaking the ordinance outlawing sex with the underaged," a reporter for a national daily tells Shukan Bunshun with a laugh. "Women can become members of the club for free. They also get free food and drinks, so lots of schoolgirls with time on their hands go in there. Hokkaido Prefectural Police have been on their guard about the joint, considering it to be a place that encourages teenage prostitution. But the cafe is not subjected to the constraints of the adult entertainment law, so the reality is there's nothing the cops can do about what goes on there." (By Ryann Connell)

85 million-year-old dinosaur skull found in Kumamoto Prefecture

KUMAMOTO — A dinosaur skull dating back to about 85 million years ago has been unearthed in a mountain in the town of Mifune, Kumamoto Prefecture, a local museum said Saturday. The Mifune Dinosaur Museum said the fossilized skull belonging to a herbivore named hadrosaurid is from the early phase of the Late Cretaceous Period and that it is probably one of the oldest of its kind in Japan.

Fossils of hadrosaurids have mainly been found in North America and Asia from the latter phase of the Late Cretaceous Period dating back to about 83 to 65 million years ago. This is the first time the dinosaur's skull was found in Japan, though other body parts have been found in Hokkaido and Fukushima and Hyogo prefectures. The town of Mifune is known for yielding numerous dinosaur fossils including those of a tyrannosaurus, one of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs.

Economist Uekusa found guilty of groping school girl on train

TOKYO — The Tokyo District Court on Tuesday sentenced economist Kazuhide Uekusa, once a well-known TV commentator, to four months in prison for groping a high school girl on a commuter train in Tokyo last year. In handing down the ruling, Presiding Judge Sho Kamisaka said it was an "extremely selfish crime that seriously disregards the woman's character."

The defense later filed an appeal against the ruling.

"I'm furious about this unreasonable ruling. No matter what sort of ruling is handed down, I'm innocent," Uekusa, 46, said earlier in expressing his intention to appeal.

Kamisaka, however, said the court determined Uekusa committed the crime based on witness testimonies and other evidence.

Citing the fact that Uekusa was convicted recently in two related cases, the judge said he cannot rule out the possibility that Uekusa will commit crimes again.

"As Uekusa makes incomprehensible excuses and shows no sincere regret about the groping, it is difficult to expect his rehabilitation in society," Kamisaka said.

Uekusa had pleaded not guilty, saying he "never committed the suspected crime." His lawyers argued the girl mistook Uekusa for the real offender, who they said stood just behind him.

But the ruling said there is no evidence showing the existence of such a person.

Prosecutors had demanded a six-month prison term for Uekusa, saying he committed a "persistent and malicious crime to fulfill sexual desire" and that he impaired the dignity of the girl.

According to the ruling, Uekusa put his hand up the high school student's skirt and touched her at about 10:10 p.m. on Sept 13, 2006 on a commuter train in Tokyo.

The train was traveling between the Shinagawa and Kamata stations of Keihin Electric Express Railway Co.

In March 2005, Uekusa was convicted of public indecency for using a mirror to try to look up a high school girl's skirt on an escalator at a Tokyo railway station in April 2004, and did not appeal the Tokyo District Court ruling. He was a professor at Waseda University at that time.

In another previous case, Uekusa was found guilty of touching a woman's knee on a train in violation of a Tokyo metropolitan government ordinance on nuisances.

Celebrity economist Uekusa jailed for groping woman on train

Celebrity economist Kazuhide Uekusa was Tuesday jailed for four months by the Tokyo District Court for fondling a woman's buttocks on a train.

Uekusa, 46, also a former graduate school professor, was found guilty of breaking a Tokyo Metropolitan Government ordinance forbidding people from creating a public nuisance.

Uekusa had vehemently denied the allegations against him, entering a not guilty plea at his trial and saying that he was the victim of mistaken identity with the real criminal having fled by the time the victim turned around and spotted him.

But prosecutors, pointing out Uekusa's prior conviction of breaking the same ordinance, demanded he be put behind bars.

"The chance he will re-offend is high," a prosecutor said.

The court sided with prosecutors, but did not send Uekusa away to jail for the six months the prosecutors had demanded.

Court records showed that on the night of Sept. 13 last year, Uekusa fondled the buttocks of a woman traveling on the same Keihin Electric Express Railway Co. line train between Shinagawa and Kamata in Tokyo.

In 2004, Uekusa was convicted of breaking the public nuisance ordinance after he was caught using a hand mirror to look up a young girl's skirt. He was fined 500,000 yen for the offense.

Kazuhide Uekusa

Kazuhide Uekusa (植草一秀 Uekusa Kazuhide?) was born December 18, 1960 in Edogawa, Tokyo. He is a Japanese economist, economic analyst, a former senior economist at Nomura Research Institute, and chairman of the Three-Nations Research Institute Co., Ltd.. He is generally called Prof. Uekusa (植草教授 Uekusa kyōju?).

Career

He was born and raised in Edogawa, Tokyo. According to TV interviews with his ex-classmates, he was mostly a straight A student, so they call him a child prodigy.

After graduating Matsue Fourth Municipal Junior High School, he went on to Ryogoku Metropolitan High School. Although this school is coeducational, he was in a boys' class. According to his classmates here, he never talked about girls nor love affairs. They were very impressed that he used to read books while attending school.

In 1979, he entered the prestigious University of Tokyo and majored economics. Uekusa joined Nomura Research Institute in April, 1983 after graduating from University of Tokyo in March, 1983. He obtained positions as a researcher of Fiscal and Momentary Policy Institute at the Ministry of Finance in July, 1985, an assistant professor at the Economic Research Institute at Kyoto University in June, 1991, an honorary fellow of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University in October, 1993, a senior economist at Nomura Research Institute in April, 2002, and became a professor at the graduate school in Waseda University from April, 2003, until he was dimissed in April 2004. Afterwards, he established the Three-Nations Research Institute, and became a chairman of the company on April 1, 2005. In April 2006, he made a career comeback in an academic position as a visiting professor at Nagoya University of Commerce and Business graduate school in Nagoya. He lectures on "national economic strategy".[1]

Additionally, he has appeared various times on Japanese television programs as a commentator.

Criminal events

Today, he is mostly known as "Mirrorman" for being arrested on April 8, 2004 because he tried to peep under a high school girl's skirt using his hand mirror on the escalator of the Japan Railway Shinagawa Station. He was dismissed from being a professor on May 7, 2004 because of the arrest, despite denying the charges. He held a news conference in Kasumigaseki on August 30, 2004, where he said "I was told I'd be able to go home quickly if I admitted my guilt, and so I admitted it. Clearly, this is a police frameup. I swear by heaven and earth I'm innocent".

His trial was opened at the Tokyo District Court on March 23, 2005 and the Chief Justice sentenced him to "Paying the fine of 500,000 yen (approx. £3,203 or $4,410) and confiscating his hand mirror". He insisted that it was an "unfair judgement" and showed intentions of appealing. The ruling was established however as he did not make the appeal by the deadline on April 6, 2005.

Additionally, there is a standing criminal record that required he pay the fine of 50,000 yen (approx £320 or $441) for lewd exposure and advances on a woman while on the JR Tōkaidō Main Line from Yokohama Station to Kawasaki Station at about 9:20 p.m. on January 30, 1998. He allegedly caressed the foot of a woman standing opposite him, and then proposed he masturbated for her in his trousers. The woman went to the train conductor and reported the incident. Uekusa was then escorted off the train by the Kanagawa Prefecture police.

A large number of pornographic videos, DVDs and images about voyeurism were discovered in Uekusa's house and his white BMW E36 of AC Schnitzer specifications in a domiciliary visit by the police. For these reasons during a trial, the Chief Justice stated that the "Defendant's sexual tastes are obvious". [2][3][4][5] While still asserting that the charges upon his character are false, Uekusa is also trying to rebuild his reputation. One such attempt is characterised by his return to lecturing on economics.

In spite of the fact he declares himself not guilty of the previous offense (hand mirror case), he was arrested again at the Keikyu Kamata Station ([1]) for molesting a high school girl in a Keihin Kyuko train ([2]) which goes in a direction completely opposite his home on September 13, 2006, around 22:10. He claims to be innocent. He says he was drunk when he was arrested, so he does not remember what happened that night. However, Nagoya University of Commerce and Business announced that they dismissed him from being a visiting professor on September 27, 2006.

He was prosecuted for chikan on October 4, 2006.[9]

On January 22, 2007, he was let out on bail from a Tokyo house of detention after he paid the bail guaranty money of 6,000,000 yen. Tokyo District Court gave permission of the bail for him on January 19 and the Tokyo District Prosecution Office complained against it, but the district court avoided it. [10]

Popular nicknames

Among a few of the titles Uekusa has earned: "Mirrorman" (ミラーマン?), "Tekagamist" (テカガミスト? JP pron: tekagamisuto), "Eronomist" (エロノミスト? "Erotic" + "Economist"), "Touchman" (タッチマン?)[11]. All such names can be found appearing in weekly magazines and the Internet. Succinctly, "Tekagamist" means a person who peeps using a hand mirror. "Mirrorman", named after the classic Japanese TV superhero Mirrorman is most popular version of this title, however.

His hand mirror was dubbed the "invisible hand mirror of God" after Adam Smith's "invisible hand of God".

21 women arrested over fatal assault on religious group member

NAGANO — Police on Monday arrested a total of 21 female members ranging from 15 to 80 years old of the religious group Kigenkai based in Komoro, Nagano Prefecture, on suspicion of beating to death another female member last month. The arrests came after the police questioned a number of members, including leaders of the group, which is officially registered with the government as a religious organization.

Police also searched the group's headquarters and other related locations over allegations that Motoko Okuno, 63, died after an assault involving the leaders inside a Kigenkai facility in Komoro that may have had something to do with a religious rite. Police said those engaged in the assault punched and kicked the woman all over her body from around 11:30 p.m. on Sept 24 through 12:30 a.m. the following day.

SHINGU, Fukuoka -- A P.E. teacher resigned in disgrace after he was found to have written sexually harassing questions on golf balls he threw in a pool and made junior high school girls collect and answer, Shingu Board of Education officials said Tuesday.

The 32-year-old male teacher from the Shingu Municipal Junior High School resigned on Oct. 10 and he and the school's principal Katsushi Sato have apologized to parents.

"I wanted to get the kids interested in water, so decided to make my classes as much fun as possible, but I went too far," the teacher said.

Sato also apologized.

"It's extremely regrettable that something like this has happened," the principal said. "Every single member of staff here wants to work hard to restore faith in us."

Shingu Board of Education officials said the teacher took a class of second-year junior high school girls for three hours of classes on Sept. 21. He wrote questions on about 40 golf balls he threw into the bottom of the pool, then encouraged the schoolgirls to dive in and collect the balls, read out the question on the balls they found and provide an answer for it.

Among the questions the teacher posed were: "How many centimeters is your bust?" "Do you want to have sex?" and "What's the name of your lover?"

One of the schoolgirls mentioned the incident to her parents, who complained to the school.

An 18-year-old girl was surprisingly crowned the "most attractive bottom queen" at Triumph International's "Show Me Your Sloggi" Japan contest held on Tuesday in Tokyo after a freak accident scorched her rump days before the contest.

"I always take care of my bottom, but I'm embarrassed to show it today because I burned it by sitting on a hair iron the other day," Kaho Watanabe, clad in pink baby doll lingerie, said in her short self-promotion spiel.

Sloggi is a casual brand produced by leading underwear manufacturer Triumph International. The company accepted photo entries of people's underwear-clad backsides for its worldwide contest between August and the middle of September. Viewers could vote for their favorite bottoms online.

Besides posing in Sloggi bras and panties, ten contestants in the Japan contest, who passed the preliminary selection out of 112 online entries, showed off their skills such as dancing, playing an instrument, and even singing a traditional enka song in a skimpy S&M type of costume.

"I can't believe I was named 'Japan's best bottom' with my burned bum. I promise I will recover before going to Germany," Watanabe said as she expressed her hopes for the world Sloggi competition scheduled on Oct. 31 in Munich. (Akiko Uematsu, Mainichi Daily News)
