No history logging in internet explorer
I have lost the history logg tracking in Internet Explorer 6.0.2900 on XP

In the today, one week and three weeks folder nothing appears and wherever I visit will not log in the folders.

Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

Thanks

Hi and welcome

If you go to Control Panel - Internet Options and on the General tab is "days to keep pages in history" set to a number greater than 0?

Welcome to TSG!

It is a possibility that your IE temporary file cache is set low and filled. Try deleting all temp Internet files and all off line content when asked. Next set history to zero (0) days then clear history. Then reset history to 5 days for now. Now inspect and reset your Temp size limit and set to minimum of 50MB, click OK then Apply then OK again. (Note reset even if it is already 50MB), then Close IE and all other applications and restart system.
Reopen IE and see if history is now recorded.

If this above fails to produce history savings the you may wish to try and repair Internet Explorer.
Follow these Directions to repair.

Retry and see if IE history is recorded.

Let us know if any of the above has corrected the problem.

Take care

Dave
