Hato Bus tour guides celebrate coming of age early
Some 20 female Hato Bus tour guides wearing kimono attended a coming of age ceremony at Meiji Shrine in Tokyo on Jan. 11, ahead of the Coming-of-Age Day on Jan. 14.
Considering many of the popular sightseeing bus tour guides are unable to attend their coming of age ceremonies on the national holiday that falls on the second Monday of January every year, the Hato Bus Co., Ltd. has been organizing an early ceremony for them since 1962. (Mainichi)
