I love his daughters' names. Very chic.

Aw, they're cute.

I wonder if his wife is British or spent time in the UK, Esme and Poppy have both been very popular names in the UK for some time but not really know in the US, although I think more people know of Poppy's now.

Um, who is he? How should we know him?

Posted by: Daze at Apr 11, 2008 7:48:59 AM

Great to see him again. Handsome family!

I LOVE Anthony Edwards! I miss seeing him on TV...wish he would do some work! His daughters are very cute...adorable names. :)

I think he's a great actor! This is the first time I've seen his daughters. Cute!

Posted by: MB at Apr 11, 2008 8:46:48 AM

Daze, he was Mark in the TV series ER.

I never knew he had 3 daughters!

Oh, I LOVE this! Thanks for sharing. I remember I saw pictures of Poppy a long time ago and she had that shock of bright almost-white hair. So cute. The older two look a lot like their mother.

They also have another child, son Bailey. He's the oldest, but I couldn't tell you exactly how old he is... unless I went and checked IMDB.com.

I have never heard the name "Wallis" before. Does anyone know how it is pronounced?? Is it the same as the male name "Wallace"?
btw, love the name Poppy- so cute!

I love how natural and cute his daughters look...not all dressed up and wearing clothes too old for them. I especially love the one in the pink! How cute!

My gosh. I can't believe how big Emse, Poppy, and Wallis have gotten since the last time I saw pictures of them. I wonder what his son Bailey looks like.

I miss the days of Anthony Edwards as Mark Greene.

Let's all hope Noah Wyle can get the original cast of ER to come back for it's final season.

mark greene is unlikely to return in the final season seeing as he died of a brain tumour! would love to see carter and doug ross again though!

Noah Wyle is trying to get everyone back? Is this for next season? Megan, please fill us in! :-)

I love Anthony and love all his daughters names. They flow well together. Cute too, all four, plus the four pawed!

Posted by: handbagwhore at Apr 11, 2008 5:10:58 PM

Daze,
To day MYSELF even further. He was in Revenge of the Nerds!

Posted by: handbagwhore at Apr 11, 2008 5:13:11 PM

I think his oldest child has to be born around 1993. I remember an ER cast interview and George Clooney brought up a story about them being at a restaurant/diner/fast food place... whatever and his son (I think it's a boy) was choking on a french frie

Anthony Edwards also played Goose in "Top Gun" - who can forget that famous volleyball scene?!

Wallis is a kanton in Switzerland. A kanton is like a state in the US (like she would be called Alabama, Nevada, etc.). For example the famous sking resort Zermatt lies in Wallis.
I'm sure she is not named after the kanton but it's funny nevertheless. I'd tip that it is a Welsh name.
