TTL stands for "Time To Live" meening how many routers it can pass before the packet dies, used to prevent run away packets if there is a loop in the network. What type of device is 192.168.0.2? Im curious why the TTL is 48 not 128. Do a
tracert (or "trace" depending on equipment) 192.168.0.1 from 192.168.0.2 and vice versa. You are by the way getting accross the network since you did recieve a reply and not a time out. what specificly isnt working? |
