 I stared out the window, as we past trees that where barley covered by leaves. In the window was a faded see-through face, it had red hair, brown eyes and pale skin, maybe that’s why I could see my self I am to pale.   “Kristen, did you hear a single word I said” I looked over and saw my mother turned around in the front seat, I just stared at her   “What?” I asked, turning around to stare back out the window,   “I said you are going to love you new school”

Stellenbosch, South Africa on a spring day in the late afternoon. Only a few tourists and some students can be seen on the streets. The two characters have just come out of a grocery store where they met by chance. The girl is a young woman, fashionably dressed and beautiful. The young man appears serious. He's obviously not of a poor origin, as seen by an expensive watch and other subtle accessories. His clothes don't particularly point in either way, they are not particularly flashy, nor in any bad shape.
