Team Fortress 2 Getting Pyro Achievements and Unlockables Next

Online gamers went wild for the achievements and unlockable weapons for the Medic in Team Fortress 2 when they were first release. So it only makes sense that Valve would be working on giving similar treatment to other characters in the near future. Well, it looks like the next one to get some new weapons and achievements will be the Pyro. No word yet on just what types of weapons or achievements we’ll be getting yet, but you can expect to see about five Pyros per team online when they finally are released.
Life-Size Gears of War Armor and Weapons Coming Soon

Getting an early start on your Halloween costume? Then you may be interested to learn that TriForce Sales has just announced they soon be releasing life-size armor and weapons based on those found in the hit Gears of War game. After acquiring the license from Epic, TriForce is now planning to release 1:1 scale replicas of the COG armor, COG helmet, and Lancer Assault Rifle like those used by Delta Squad. They’ve also enlisted the services of Sid Garrand from Nightmare Armor Studios to sculpt the gear:

Skate It `What happened to San Van?` TrailerI was wondering just what make Skate It different from it’s predecessor (other than new waggle and touch controls for the Wii and DS, respectively) and now it looks like I have my answer. This new game will also feature a more realistic environment, which will then be devastated by an earthquake. But does the mass destruction of property and inherent loss of life faze these skaters and their cameramen? Of course not. They take advantage of everyone else’s misery to to go out and find new spots to trick off of. Is anyone else a little weirded out that they released a trailer about how awesome earthquakes are when the one in China is still making headlines? It just seems…odd.
Sci-Fi Channel Mixing TV With MMO Gaming

Let’s face it: the relationship between TV and gaming has been spotty at best over the years. Fusing the two has mostly resulted in either horrible TV shows or horrible games. Still, the Sci-Fi channel is hoping to change that by bringing the two forms of entertainment together in a new and unique way. Ninja Gaiden 2 Demo Coming Early Tomorrow

Those of you who have been awaiting the Ninja Gaiden 2 demo need only wait a few more hours (assuming your definition of “a few” applies to 8 1/2) to get your hands on what Xbox Live members in Japan have been enjoying for days, according to Major Nelson. As promised, the demo will be hitting this week; and more precisely, tomorrow at 5AM ET (2AM PT). Unless you’re in Germany or India, in which case you won’t be seeing anything, unfortunately.
