World-ranked super-bantamweight Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym kept sharp yesterday with a second round knockout win over Indonesia's Ifan Bone at Ayutthaya Park.
Poonsawat knocked Bone down in the first round with a right hook and finished the job in the next session with a left uppercut.
The fight was for the 27-year-old Thai's WBA-affiliated PABA belt.
Poonsawat stopped domestic rival Somsak Sithchatchawal in the 11th round of a WBA title eliminator at Hua Mark Stadium in March and his record now stands at 34 wins (24KOs) against just one defeat.
He is the mandatory contender to champion Celestino Cabellero, from Panama.
On Thursday, unbeaten featherweight Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo upped his ledger to 25-0 (13KOs) with a unanimous points win over experienced Filipino Jaime Barcelona in Sara Buri.
Twenty-three year-old Chonlatarn retained his WBC-affiliated ABCO title with the victory.
The scores were 117-111, 117-111 and 118-110.He is ranked fourth in the world by the WBC. Their featherweight champion is Jorge Linares.
