Welcome, Everyone, to Njection.com
If you like it, please digg this story up. Thanks.
Welcome to Njection.com, a revolutionary site for the driving community. We provide an open forum for drivers and experts within the automotive field to share pictures, information, and their opinions on everything from the latest makes and models to where it's safest to test an engine. We look forward to connecting with all of you and make this site the best it can be. Njection is comprised of five main sections:
SpeedTrap Available now is Speed Trap, a web application hybrid mash up that combines Microsoft Live Maps along with the ability to pinpoint and review speed traps located anywhere on the planet. The information shared by its members is placed into a database and can be viewed by anyone. SpeedTrap allows the average driver to avoid being pulled over and slapped with a ticket by informing them of local and national speeding surveillance hotspots. Auto insurance companies and state government offices profit from speeding tickets and fines but by exchanging information via SpeedTrap drivers are given an edge on the system, allowing them to drive safely and vigilantly on nearly any road worldwide.
Blogs/Technical Contributors This section is a roundtable discussion available to every visitor to Njection.com. Technical Contributors are individuals who demonstrate an aptitude in their field of expertise about cars and want to share that knowledge with the public. Blogs allow a dialog between drivers and experts, opening up the lines of communication from a network of roads to the network of the internet.
Forums This section is subdivided by car, location and language for specialized discussions. Members can view information about cars they are interested in, ask questions, and explore what other people are saying about specific models. Want to know if investing in an '02 Explorer with a base XLS is the right move for you? This is the click you have to make before turning the key in the ignition.
Download This section is used to upload and download files to help you tune your car. You will find Engine Control Unit (ECU) maps and means for document dispersal and obtaining other technical specifications precisely tailored to you and your ride.
Calendar This section offers a list of events both specific to the United States as well as happenings worldwide. Each link within the calendar will bring direct you to a Web page with more information about the specific event listed.
If you have any questions about becoming a Technical Contributor, please use the contact forum below. Be sure to check out our new speed trap link (http://njection.com/speedtrap). Enjoy!

Ferrari has added yet another chapter to its sporting saga today by revealing the latest in the line of “new generation” cars, the Ferrari California. The California, or F149, is the Italian automaker’s first retractable hard top convertible and puts an effectively modern spin on the California rag top models of the past. Fittingly then, the California takes it styling cues from not only some of the marque’s current range (we see a bit of 612 around the edges), but also from the convertible models that have helped to make Ferrari one of the most lusted after brands on the planet. (Click on the thumbnails below to browse a Ferrari California gallery or through the jump to read more, including the official press release.) The automaker seems especially excited about the F149 powerplant, which will be mounted in “mid-front” position for a Ferrari first. The 4.3-liter V-8 features direct injection and a “flat” crankshaft, producing around 450 horsepower at 7,500 rpm. That power will be...
