Aquarius Horoscope for April 2008

There is plenty of energy circulating in your horoscope this month and you seem restless and eager to set off in new directions, whether metaphysically or literally. Expand the perimeters of your world, open up to new thinking, and find a way to explore greater possibilities on all levels of life. It appears that you're on the verge of a major lifestyle change, one you've long hoped to institute, and as you get closer to actually making the change, the excitement will build.

This is a month that will bring in a great many messages, both written and verbal, along with the need to schedule many meetings. You'll need to organize all the data, lest you mislay an important address, phone number, or other detail. You may need to travel a short distance unexpectedly, particularly near month's end too. There's nothing like a lot of stimulus to keep you alert and happy, so this month you'll be at your best. It'll it be an enormously productive time, so you'd be wise to dig in.

Next month, Mercury goes retrograde from May 26 to June 17, so you will want to make key decisions now, for May will be less productive, especially from mid-month on. Also, Mars will enter Leo from May 9 through June 30, and Leo is not as easy a sign for you to host Mars. Critics will come out of the woodwork at that time, so if you have an idea, product, or service to propose that you believe in, do so in April while you have so much cosmic support.

If you write, speak, edit, teach, do research, or work in any other part of the communication business, your ideas, skills, and experience will be in hot demand. Publishing, marketing, public relations, television, radio, advertising, sales, travel, or transportation - you name it, if you work in one of these fields, you'll be extra busy. It would be an ideal month to unveil a new Web site, hire a publicist, advertise, or propose a new idea that you feel strongly about but that may be a tad risky. If you feel it's right on the money, it probably is!

If you are in your own business, it's a great month to order new personal or business stationery, design a logo, or debut a new or upgraded Web site, blog, or zine. Announce your radio show, or do a pilot for your TV show, or advertise your services like mad. When you're hot, you're hot.

The problem with this particular new moon April 5 is that it will be in hard angle to Mars, currently touring your sixth house workaday sector.

One way this may affect you is that if you are getting ready to sign a contract, some of the wording could concern you. You'd be right to want to negotiate changes. Open talks on April 5 or in the two weeks that follow, but be prepared for a battle of wits. It does not appear that the other party will be very agreeable to those changes, so you may have to make compromises. Of course you always have to be ready to walk away if you really find the terms unacceptable.

A different way this new moon may work out is that you may need to travel for your work. Again, with Mars in a feisty mood, you may have problems either getting there or with the actual meeting. Be sure your car is in good working order and that you have the right address and proper driving instructions. If you are getting a new assignment, be sure you have clarity about how others want you to proceed.

If you were born on or near February 5, or five days of this date, you should find this new moon quite helpful in advancing your agenda. You should see lots of activity this month, for this new moon would be speaking directly to you.

No matter when your birthday happens to fall, when it comes to your career, you appear to be moving upward in status. The truth of this will be obvious to one and all at the full moon in your honors, awards, and achievement sector on April 20. At the time of this full moon, a rare triangular pattern will appear in the sky, linking the energies of Pluto, Saturn, Mercury, and the Sun in an outstandingly positive way. Pluto's involvement is important because Pluto is the natural ruler of your house of fame and honors, suggesting that any offer you get now would be very prestigious.

Saturn's involvement is also heartening, for Saturn will give you a comforting sense of security. The Sun and Mercury are now moving into your house of home, suggesting you are now making changes there, or soon will, by the light of the new moon on May 5 (sure to be a REALLY great new moon)! All the changes you are making now are soon to prove to be excellent.

Something else is going on that I find remarkable. This full moon will be in Scorpio, lighting your house of fame and honors. Remarkably, next month on May 19, you will get a second full moon in the very same sign - Scorpio - only it will fall in a later degree. This shows something important is bubbling up in your career, and although you may settle things this month, there may be other elements to discuss and finalize near May 19, too.

Financially, on April 22 you should hear excellent news, perhaps unexpectedly, for Mars will be in beautiful angle to Uranus. This will be a red-letter day, so be sure to make yourself happy. If you were having problems negotiating a contract or plan for compensation earlier in the month, you should see a breakthrough on this date.

Uranus is your ruling planet, so in truth, April 22 can be used for other activities. You get to choose how you'd like to direct this energy. Mars will be cooperating beautifully with Uranus, and is known to impart high energy and a willingness to roll into action at a moment's notice. Perhaps you can choose April 22 for any purpose that will require stamina, courage, or to display natural leadership. Mars is the ultimate "do it now" planet - you may feel overcome with the need to finally act! Good!

Mercury will be quite a busy bee this month, moving swiftly toward making decisive aspects to several planets. Although Mercury will be in an angry mood the first half of the month, things will improve dramatically by the second half. Mercury rules communication and negotiation, so at the start of the month, things will be a bit rocky, but keep plugging because all of Mercury's benefits will come to you later. Here's what I see:

On April 3, Mercury will give Pluto a hard time. You may feel forced or pushed very hard to accept terms and conditions that you don't like. Keep negotiating, and don't be the one to blink first.

On April 10, Mercury will pick a fight with Mars, and co-workers or even subordinates won't be cooperative. By this point in April, you may not feel that you're getting along with anyone! Count to ten and remind yourself that things are due to improve soon.

By April 14 things will start to look up. Mercury will work beautifully with Neptune on this day, allowing you to come up with very original creative ideas. Consider buying tickets to enjoy an artistic performance, such as the ballet, a concert, or Broadway show. This day is a Monday, but the approaching weekend, April 12-13, would be just as strong for these matters, particularly on Sunday.

Even better beams from Mercury are yet to come on two days that will fall back to back:

On April 27 Mercury will send a superb vibration to Uranus, allowing you to show off your most brilliant ideas. If you write, set aside time to develop your craft, and if you speak, you may be suddenly asked to be a guest on TV or radio. This day would bring exciting, surprising news, all of it benefiting you. Uranus is your guardian planet after all!

On April 28, a Monday, Mercury will contact Jupiter, allowing you to have a confidential meeting that hits all the right notes. Any kind of personal or professional meeting would be favored, including medical, dental, or psychiatric consultations. If you need to talk to anyone about money, whether that person is your boss, client, contractor, or anyone else, this would be the day to do it.

You also may be able to make a big residential change at month's end, perhaps because you are moving into a new apartment or house. If so, the end of the month will be such a good time to institute repairs, improvements, and upgrades! If you need to buy or sell property, look to this week as when you'll likely do well in your negotiations. Family issues will be easily resolved near April 27 and 28, too. These days are so special, on so many levels, and will have you walking on air!

Next month will continue the theme of improving your most private living experience, so stay tuned - there is much more to come!

Romantically, April 27 or 28 at month's end will be extra strong too, as Mercury is the natural ruler of your solar fifth house of true love. I particularly like the weekend of April 26-27, doubly so if you travel a short distance. If attached, April would be a grand month to take a quick weekend out of town. Single? You may meet someone while in a brand new setting or while in transit. When it comes to love, truly, travel is part of the equation.

Most romantic evenings: April 1, 5, 9, 13, 17-18, 22-23, and 27-29.

Summary

It looks like you're trying to reach accord in a business dealing, and although the financial potential of the deal is obvious, some of the details of the deal seem unsettling to you. Stick to your guns, even when the pressure gets tough. This deal could take weeks or months to finalize, so be ready for a lengthy discussion. Saturn and Pluto will work with you, so keep in mind that even if you feel outflanked, in the end you can prevail. You seem to be on the side of the angels, so there is no need to give up. In the eleventh hour, a highly placed person will speak up for you, just when you need the help the most. This will restore your faith in miracles, as it should!

Travel could easily come up this month too, and you will most likely go for work, as it's clear you will have a goal to complete. Still, like everything else in early April, pressures and obstacles seem to proliferate and you'll have to get over those hurdles if you are to accomplish what you set out to do. The new moon, April 5, will be in the daring sign of Aries, so you seem not to be fazed by whatever rocks fall in your path. Excellent!

The full moon on April 20 will light your house of achievement, fame, and honors, so developments may take your breath away. The harder and smarter you worked, the more exciting the moment now. At long last, you'll know for sure that you're on a fast track to success.

A career matter will reach a lovely crescendo in the days surrounding April 20. It could be quite an exciting time, when all the elements of your life seem to be in rare sync. If you have been interviewing for a new job, this would be your moment to hear back.

You will have another full moon in the very same part of your chart - your solar tenth house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame - next month on May 19. To have two full moons, one month after another, in the same house, is exceedingly rare. This tells me something very big may be going on in your career life, all of it about to bring you exceptionally good news.

Whatever is going on seems to be happening in stages, with phase one concluding now (perhaps when you get offered the new job), and with the second, final phase (perhaps when you actually leave your present position) near May 19.

By next month you may be ready to make home and lifestyle changes, possibly in response to your growing stature in your industry. April 22 should bring good financial news. It's also a fine day to find the courage to do something you've been meaning to do but have felt a little shy about doing. You'll be ready on this day!
