Hello all,
The Development Team has found the problem setting that is causing Ad-Aware to crash on updating! A permanent fix will be forthcoming but probably not until next week due to the Easter Holiday For now this workaround works! Open Ad-Aware 2007 Go to *Webupdate* Click on *Settings* Disable: Backup Definition File (make it a "red X" as shown)
Remember to *Save* your settings. This should resolve the problem with updates crashing Ad-Aware. There will be a software update soon to resolve the problem and you can then resume to change this setting back to green after the fix is released.
