What a great first diary post! I like the picture too - did Russ take it? Doko desu ka?

I must warn you, if your English becomes too strong, you may be forced to listen to talkative New York gaijin like me. Even people who speak English perfectly don't understand me some times. I guess you can always run away... haha!

Hello Yasuyo-san,

Though I have never met you, just from reading your diary, I have found that we have quite a few things in common.

1) I also have a picture in front Lake Tekapo in NZ, however, my pose is not as かっこいい as yours. You look fantastic!

2) I am also trying to learn a second language and am terrified of making mistakes except my second language is Japanese. I can't wait until Cerego releases iKnow for English speakers wanting to learn Japanese. But I hope I can learn from you and have enough courage to write a diary in Japanese. You are a great inspiration!

3) Sometimes I also have difficulty understanding my husband's friends... especially Kirk. But don't worry. If you don't know what he is saying, just nod your head and he will keep talking. You can have long conversations with him this way. Just kidding, Kirk! Ha ha!

4) My husband Brian is also a がんこ crazy man who spends his whole day at work... with Russ. So I guess we can call ourselves Cerego widows. But I agree with what you wrote in your post -- even though they work long hours, I'm glad they seem to really enjoy it.

Given all the things we already have in common, I think we have a lot to talk about... especially #4, although that topic alone would take us days to discuss! Hope to meet you someday!
