Since I believe the old one is at (or at least near) the auto-sage limit, here's a new one. Just for reference until it drops off, here's the old one: >>125504

Post muzak here, and requests would be most good as well. Knock yourselves out folks.

>> No.143296

Okay, top post outta the way... now to do the respondin' thing.

>>142311

Try 舞風 (MAIKAZE), they have some really nice soundin' stuff. Nothin' hardcore, but more on the airy and lighter side. A good share of their arrangements have a touch of "epic" in my opinion, which makes listenin' even nicer.

セブンスヘヴンMAXION (Seventh Heaven MAXION) sounds up your alley. If you liked "Phantasm Brigade -another side-", think of 'em as kinda like that. They have a pop-like sound to their arrangements, with a smidge of an edge laced within.

Hopefully one or the other will be up your alley, doesn't seem too far off from your tastes.

>>142312

Usually I'd appease this request to a larger extent... but I just don't quite have the time today. One I can recommend comes from MyonMyon's "Steel of Scarlet" release. Link here:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/jq1480

Here's a link where you can search down some more:

http://www16.atwiki.jp/toho/

Use the search box down a bit to the left, and you'll find a fair number of releases with an arrangement of it.

>>142377

Do you absolutely require rapidshare, or would... say... sendspace be acceptable? Don't wanna spend my time uploading all of it again to sendspace when you absolutely need rapidshare.

The first part I can tell is Chinese Tea, but the second half escapes me.
Coincidentally, this video is precisely what started my interest in Touhou.

Second one is "童祭 ~ Innocent Treasures" by ZUN.

Song attached to this post in VBR MP3.

FUCK YES YOU ARE THE MOST HELPFUL NAMED FAIRY EVER
(Fun Fact: This had been nagging at me for more than two years now.)
Thank you so very much.

>> No.143332

>>143321
Innocent Treasures is a pretty popular song, actually. It's from Changeability of Strange Dream, first track. As far as remixes go, Silver Forest, WAVE (highly recommended), C-Clays have their arranged versions.

>> No.143344

Oh, another unfulfilled request from the previous thread: was anyone lucky enough to find the orchestral arrangement of Mokou's theme done by Mukyou? (I was able to find the extra stage theme version but this one got away...)

>>143332

Agreed. It's a beautiful song and I'm glad there are actually arrangements that make it justice.

Another request: any decent versions (preferably instrumental/not overly electronic or if it's electronic, at least a piano following the melody) of ヒロシゲ36号 ~ Neo Super-Express from Retrospective 53 Minutes? I bought the album and I love that song. TAM's version is nice but I found it overly "sad", slow and depressing whereas I feel the original is more cheerful/happy due to the drumming and the piano.

From the same album: 青木ヶ原の伝説 (track 5)

I am not sure I ever heard a single arrangement of this one. (ok, my knowledge of the arrangements isn't really the best)

Any help will be appreciated!

>> No.143345

Talking about the arrange CDs, anyone has arranges of 少女秘封倶楽部? Or of any other original track of Ghostly Field club?

>> No.143349

>>143344

For 青木ヶ原の伝説...GCF did a remix of it in 東方浪漫堂 Second Chapter. Also there is a mix of it in Concealed the Conclusion OST which comes with the game.

And for Neo Super-Express...CYTOKINE made an arrangement for it in "A satellite in the 2nd outerspace". And TAM made two arrangements, one in Touhou Violin 3 and another in Zoku touhou komori uta.

>> No.143353

>>143345
少女秘封倶楽部... that would be Maidens Sealed Fraternity right? The album 東方春風桜蕾 from sisimai-brothers (ししまいブラザーズ) has an excellent piano arrangement. Its so good I even uploaded it, but get the album if you can, it might be on the TH music torrent. Link of the track is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?tbdngwbpte9

Alstroemeria Records' 舞-MAI- also has 3 arrangements from Ghostly Field Club.

>> No.143360

>>143353

Thanks for pointing this out. Funny detail, Ghostly Field Club is the other album I got with Retrospective... Some of the original non-game tracks are awesome.

Sisimai Brothers are excellent. They are the closest thing to ZUN's original music in terms of instruments/bases used. Feels like the enhanced version.

I love these music threads. They are a great compendium of good recommendations.

>>143349

Thanks for the info!

>> No.144040

question (no need to give link)...
which Alstroemeria Records Album has vocals?
Loved them, but not really into the non-vocals.
thx...

>> No.144048

Say does anyone know any good arranges to Marisa's night theme from IAMP? I used to have a few now all I have is one by dBu and one by Seventh Heaven MAXION.

>> No.144053

>>144040

Dolls & HARMONY are the two vocal only releases. The rest of the releases have a spattering of vocal tracks.

BLUE NOTE - 6 vocal tracks
Lovelight - original version of "Bad Apple!!"
The Garnet Star - original version of "Maple Wizen"
The Last Judgement - "The Last Judgement"
DANCEFLOOR COMBAT - "Bad Apple!! (Simian Noize Remix)"

I think that's pretty much all of 'em.

Does anyone know of a good arrange of Sariel's 1st theme in HRtP?

Don't have many myself I'm afraid, despite it bein' my favorite arrangement from IaMP. After lookin' at the CDWiki, not really excited about the other arrangements I came across. Anyway, here are the three I have:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/ewl2eo

File list attached to this post. WAVE's arrangement is absolutely wonderful... but I suppose that's to be expected.

A request!

Does anyone have any links to good remixes of Imperishable Night tunes? Unfortunately I can't get Japanese ideograms to display on my comp (believe me I've tried) so I can't see album names, only rows of boxes. :(

>> No.144252

>>144245
On top of my head I can recommend Sensitive Heart's "Moon Shooter" and dBu's "Eternal Nocturne". These are all IN-only arrange albums.
Also, what do you mean you can't display japanese characters? It's the easiest thing if you have your WinXP CD, it should be easier than playing EASY MODO.

>> No.144449

Thanks for the suggestion. You wouldn't happen to have a link for those by any chance? :)

And yeah, I know it SHOULD be easy to get 'em to display, and I've done the steps a half-dozen times just to try and find out what the hell it is I'm listening to, but it just refuses to work.

Is there a program that can convert the TTA + .cue sheets to another format, preferably something more common like FLAC or MP3? Ideally, something with batch processing would be nice.

>> No.144520

>>144495
foobar can interpret the cue files, and can convert to mp3 and flac as long as you point it to where the the encoders are (where is lame.exe/flac.exe?)

>> No.144753

>>144520

foobar2000 comes with native FLAC support. Should be a default preset of Level 5, but you can add your own preset all the way up to Level 10. >>144495 will however need the TTA plug-in for foobar2000 available on the codec's main page. Link below:

>>144228

Since this is the second request, and the other from >>142377 has yet to respond, I'll just upload everything I've got to a couple of places. I'm doin' some DVD burnin' this morning, so multi-taskin' is no bother. I've done it once before, might as well go for it again.

All of 'em in VBR format, 'cept for the final track on Touhou Sangetsuka. It came encoded at 96kbps, and that's fine since it's basically just a 97 minute long interview-ish deal with the crew.

megaupload for those who want a bunch all at once

I'm missin' the C72 special release, haven't found a copy of it... period. No MP3 archive, and certainly not a lossless archive. Sorry about that, but I suppose that's how it goes sometimes.
