Thailand put on a good display to draw 3-3 with China yesterday in a friendly in Kunming.
Striker Teerathep Winothai scored twice and substitute Tana Chanabut netted the other for Thailand. A last-gasp goal by China's Zhu Ting denied the visitors a win.
The draw with the Asian powerhouses should boost Thailand's confidence before they take on Oman in a crucial World Cup qualifier in Bangkok on March 26.
It was one-way traffic in the first 20 minutes when China piled pressure, although they could not break through the Thai defence.

However, an eventual lapse of concentration allowed China striker Qu Bo to open the scoring from close range after 34 minutes.
In the second half, Teerathep stunned the home fans when he tapped in a pass from Tana.
After the equaliser, Thailand took control of the match and went ahead after 63 minutes through Teerathep again to make it 2-1.
The Chinese put the game back on level terms when Thai defender Nattaporn Phanrit's poor clearance allowed Han Peng to score.
Thailand conceded a penalty after 70 minutes but substitute goal-keeper Narit Taweekul did well to save China skipper Li Wei Feng's spot kick.
Thailand looked to have secured a win when Tana slotted home the kingdom's third goal nine minutes from time but Zhu Ting saved the face of the home side with an equaliser in injury time.
