I read somewhere that Heath was quite upset that these pictures had surfaced, because it was a "private moment" that he had shared so he felt violated. Then I saw Brokeback Mountain and realized that they were pictures taken of the scene where the boys jump off the cliff naked into the water, and you can see everything you see here in the fucking movie! What a hypocrite... Sure it's not as large and detailed in the film, but it wasn't exactly a "private moment" now was it?

Is he cut or uncut? It looks kind of like he has a bunch of foreskin, but it could also just be a very loose circumcision.

either you saw a different version of Brokeback Mountain than I did, or you're crazy, because there are no frontal shots in the film. the cliff scene is primarily in shadows and you can't see anything but figures jumping with no detail. so it is not the same thing and these photos dont violate his privacy.

the only problem I have with it all though, is why the hell didn't they take photos of Jake nude, lol.

I personaly think the stunt guy who jumped off the cliff with Heath is hotter. I want to see the large pics of the naked stunt.

A stunt man took Jake Gyllenhaal's place for the jump off the cliff. Jake did not consider it worth the risk of injury as his face would not be seen. He was going to shoot Jarhead as soon as the Brokeback Mountain shoot finished. If his face would have been visible, he would have done the jump. According to what I've read, he has no problem with nudity as long as there's a reason for it.

I read an interview with Michelle Williams where she talked about how things were shot on a closed "set," that it was never going to be full-on full-frontal like this, and people working were supposed to be protecting the talent -- not allowing paparazzi or people with cameras to snap sneaky shots from other angles and then sell the pix. Hence, Heath Ledger felt violated after what had been a satisfyiing day of shooting -- wouldn't you if the work you'd been doing had been ripped off in such a sleazy way?

Well, as someone who works in the industry, its common knowledge that his publicist "accidentally" leaked the pictures to raise his profile. But of course everyone would deny all knowledge of that now wouldnt they?

Jake said in an interview that he is deathly afraid of heights and got a stunt double to do the jump which is why there isnt more of a close up of the scene. Heath apparently had no problem making the jump. If anyone saw "Jarhead", you'd see Jake has no problem doing full frontal, there is a great shot of him in the shower, cant wait for it to come on DVD.

So, really...is Heath uncut or cut? Looks like he's cut, but w/a little extra skin left on. What do you all think?

I don't agree at all. The film had distant shots and both actors agreed to do the scene in that way. These pics are exploitational. BTW, his dick isn't small it is flaccid and it may have been cold. How silly of you.

Well, well, seen the movie twice and there is not a frontal view of Heath jumping off the cliff. Unfortunately reading the comments about what others stated about seeing Heath frontal shots only proved that may had fell asleep and dreamed that they seen Heath penis in the movie.

I feel I read this storyline in one those men magazines, but still enjoyable and hot. Heath and Jake both will be viewed differently.

I have seen the movie 3 times so far...once in paris, once in manchester and once in houston ..(in houston they had the screen darkened and the dialog sound down so low it was very hard to understand!...those homophobes!) ..and for a mili-second you see something like a penis...in the jump scene....no frontal shots..and of course that is not why anyone (i hope) goes to see the movie....but these are nice pics...!! it was probably cold, and from these pics it looks like mr ledger is a grow-er, not neccessarily a show-er...anyway,i think ms williams is very lucky!!

The film is a very important one and if any of you had bothered to read the story it was based on (although I doubt most of you read anything apart from porn stories) you might just feel like spending your time talking about the issues the story and film raises.
Also, this wasn't a fantasy. Annie Proulx received many letters from real ranch hands (actually they weren't cowboys in the film, despite the usual dumbed-down description by the media) who had a similar experience or knew of others with a similar experience.
There's a time and a place for gay humour but this film is above all that. It's about true love, repressed lives and the sadness and pain homophobia causes to everyone, not just the guys involved.

I have been there, and I am very proud of this great film. We should all be glad it has had such wide release and world acceptance. It deserves to be Oscar toasted.
