High court upholds 2-year prison term on Suzuki over bribery
Feb. 26  TOKYO, Japan
House of Representatives member Muneo Suzuki arrives at the Tokyo High Court in Tokyo on Feb. 26 to hear the court's ruling on his appeal against a November 2004 Tokyo District Court decision. The high court upheld a two-year prison term on him for convictions on four counts including taking bribes from two Hokkaido companies in exchange for favors. (Kyodo)
