WORLD CUP QUALIFIER
TOR CHITTINAND
Heavy snowfall in Japan has forced Thailand to adjust their training schedule ahead of Wednesday's World Cup qualifier in Saitama.
The side have switched their sessions to an indoor pitch following three inches of snow.
Team manager Kittiratt Na Ranong said stadium staff had promised the game would go ahead as planned and that the venue would almost certainly be filled to its capacity of 62,000.
"We will have to cope with the cold weather and the Japanese supporters," said Kittiratt.
"We aren't worried as we have prepared well.
"I have talked with our players and they all think the weather is very similar to when they trained in England.
"I am sure that they can adapt without any problems."
Thailand have been boosted by the news Jetsada Jitsawad is on the road to recovery from a knee injury while Datsakorn Thonglao, Prat Samakrat and Kiatprawut Saiwaew have also taken part in training.
The match is the first in the third round of World Cup Asian qualifying and starts at 5.20pm Thai time.Thailand and Japan are in Group B with Oman and Bahrain.
