The match deciding the outcome of the Asian Men's Olympic Qualification was played today between Japan and Korea at 7:20pm (local time) at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo in front of 10,257 spectators (sold out) with the following result:
Korea-Japan 28-25 (14-11)
The men's national team of Korea therefore qualified for the Men's Olympic Handball Tournament at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Furthermore, Japan will take part in one of the IHF Olympic Qualification Tournaments, which are due to take place from 30 May to 1 June 2008.
