Old Man River's 'La' The Most Played Song In Japan

Following on from Old Man River's European chart success, their debut single 'La' last week topped the Japanese Radio Airplay chart, making Old Man River the most played non-Japanese artist in the land of the rising sun.

'La' was released to Japanese radio just before Christmas and in the first radio chart of the New Year it is the most played single on 28 of Japan's influential FM radio networks.

This great chart news follows last year's #2 Radio chart in Italy, which sparked Old Man River mania across the European summer.

Old Man River's debut album 'Good Morning' will be released in Japan next week and will precede a week-long promotional tour of Japan in mid February before the band head to the USA for their inaugural SxSW appearance.

Old Man River will then return to Japan in August for the Summersonic Festival tour that plays to more than 200,000 fans in each of 3 cities.
