A second international scientific meeting on the auditory cortex will be held in Grantham, UK. The details are as follows:

• The meeting will be held on 17th - 21st September 2006.
• Themes and format:
  • Mixture of invited talks and contributed posters
  • Plenty of unscheduled time
  • An emphasis on auditory cortical function in the context of cognition and behaviour: actually listening to sound
  • Extension of 'auditory cortex' beyond superior temporal lobe
