Viking: Battle for Asgard Trailer #2

Wed, 12 Dec 2007 17:48:24 +0000

Viking: Battle for Asgard Trailer #2Freya always gets what she wants, and if that means bringing a Viking back from the dead to avenge the hordes who have destroyed her followers, so be it. The newest tailer from SEGA’s Viking: Battle for Asgard is pretty interesting, especially for gamers out there who enjoy nothing more than taking a broadsword to an enemy and cutting him in half. Ah, nothing could be sweeter in my book - a fun, blood soaked hack and slash action/adventure game with a taste for vengeance. If that is not enough, the graphics look pretty decent and the monsters formidable.

Penumbra: Black Plague Trailer 2

Wed, 12 Dec 2007 17:29:40 +0000

Penumbra is a psychological horror adventure game that we have been waiting for. It seems as if psychological horror games have been flooding the market for the past few years, but this one looks original enough to remain exciting. Considering this is being released in February, I am sure we have at least one more trailer headed our way prior to release.

Really Cool Iron Man Screens

Wed, 12 Dec 2007 15:48:55 +0000

These cool new screens for Iron Man not only make me happy to see one of my favorite comic book heroes making his way to consoles everywhere, but it also gets me psyched over the movie coming out in May 2008. The first Iron Man project produced under the license agreement, will be based on Marvel Studios’ Iron Man feature film starring Robert Downey Jr. and Terrence Howard, and directed by Jon Favreau. The game will be released along with the movie in the Spring and will be a single-player action-adventure game for the PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360.

Team Fortress 2 Getting DLC Maps Next Year

Wed, 12 Dec 2007 07:56:10 +0000

In news that should surprise absolutely no one, Valve has revealed that they are currently working on new maps for the popular online shooter, Team Fortress 2. The maps are currently being tested and will be released on PC sometime next year as downloadable content. In addition to this news, Xbox 360 owners will soon be receiving a patch for The Orange Box which “fixes several game-play exploits, improves bandwidth usage, improves stats reporting, and fixes some menu bugs.” As much fun as TF2 is, the maps do tend to get a little old at times, since they’re all pretty similar. Hopefully Valve has taken this into consideration when designing these new maps.
