Before I started studying English, I had some doubts, like, “I don't know if I will even have chances to use it or not.” But now I am really glad I started learning English. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people on “Eigo de Shaberanaito.” We have had all sorts of guests, from people studying English on their own to foreign guests, and the people who started studying from square one are especially inspirational in their strength of heart. And everyone has such a wide perspective. I feel that if I continue to study English and use English to communicate with foreigners, my perspective will expand even more, and in turn I will encounter many sources of happiness.
English is a tool to “convey” and “express,” right? When I effectively convey or express the feelings I wanted to tell to someone, that makes me so happy, and I wind up liking English even more. Liking something is the best way to approach it, and I think when you come to like something, you can continue to work hard at it forever. There are still so many things I have to learn. Let's try hard together.
