WBC strawweight champion Eagle Den Janlapan vows to knock out Oledong Sithsamerchai in their all-Thai clash on November 29.
Japan-based Eagle has been studying tapes of his challenger and said he would be looking to stop him in their fight in Bangkok.
''I am confident I can finish this one early,'' said the 28-year-old.
Promoter Piyarat Vachirarattanawongse said that the clash has attracted a lot of interest in Japan as well as Thailand.
''I have been informed that a lot of Japanese reporters will come to cover the fight,'' said Piyarat.
Den's family, including his Japanese wife and children, will also be at a ringside.
Den was born in Pichit province before moving abroad and boxing initially under the name Eagle Kyowa.
He has won 18 fights against one defeat with six knockouts and broke challenger Akira Yaegashi's jaw in his last defence.
Den is now trained by Thai coach Somdej M16 and sparring with Atsumasa Ouchi.
Twenty-two year-old Oledong has won all 24 of his fights, with nine stoppages, but has boxed at a much lower level while defending minor WBC-affiliated belts.
