How to Capture MPEG2 TS from BS digital tuner

Required item

• Panasonic MotionDV STUDIO 4.6J URL
• XacRett URL
• CapDVHS URLURL

Step by Step

1 Install XacRett

• Dowonload XacRett
• http://www.kmonos.net/lib/arc/xacr481.exe
• execute!
• Select folder [c:\tmp\xacrett] and click ok.
• 
• XacRett.exe double click . Select foler [c:\tmp\acrett], and click ok.
• 

2 Extract driver's file

• Set MotionDV STUDIO CD-ROM. [d:\]
• Drug and Drop d:\Setup\data2.cab to c:\tmp\xacrett\XacRett.exe
• Extract many files to d:\tmp\xacrette\data2
• 

3 Install device driver .

• Start - Control Panel - System - Hardware tab - device manager button.
• 
• Double click AV/C tuner.
• Click Reinstall Driver.
• 
• Click on the Install from a list or specific location button.
• Click Next.
• 
• Click on the "Don't Search. I will choose the driver to install" button.
• Click Next.
• 
• Click "Have Disk..." button.
• 
• Select "c:\tmp\xacrett\data2". and Click OK button.
• 
• Check box "Show compatible hardware" off.
• 
• Select Manifuctures "Panasonic" , Select Model "Panasonic D-VHS AV/C Device", and Click Nxet.
• 
• You may get the following warning. Click "Yes"
• 
• You may get the following warning. Click "Continu Anyway"
• 
• Installing files.
• 
• Finaly Click "Finish" to complete driver install.
• 

4 Capture MPEG2 TS

• Download CapDVHS
• http://member.nifty.ne.jp/kishio/soft/CapDVHS0301.zip
• http://www.yamabe.org/
• http://www.yamabe.org/softbody.html#CapDVHS
• Extract zip file.
• Double Click CapDVHS.exe
• 
• Select Capture Devie "Panasonic MPEG2TS Tape Subunit Devide (Unknown Video #1)
• Click "Start"
• 
• Click "Stop"
• 
• MPEG2TS file is crated.
•
