I cannot seem to install this on my mbp. I had photoshop cs3 installed prior, but removed it. I noticed the photoshop install option is greyed out in the install screen. Anyhow, all looks good until the progress bar get to about 90% and the install summary tells me acrobat 8 and a couple other components installed but all the major ones gave errors. Is there a log written somewhere after this install. What are the errors? Has anyone gotten this to install fine?

I was able to get this to install on my Mac Pro, no problems at all. I didn't have any other Adobe products installed or registered on my computer, at the time, and the fresh install worked perfectly. Installation does NOT require a serial number, this is gathered on the first run of the program (unless you use the crack).

OK, it works realy great but UNLESS you have used the Beta Photoshop CS3!!! The uninstaller of Photoschop CS3 BETA leaves a Mac OS (and Windows as well) system unable to install any other Photoshop - at all. So beware - if you have used CS3 BETA - do not install this final CS3 just yet, wait for the solution. Adobe will soon post a script that cures the situation:

I keep getting a checksum error ("invalid checksum" and not being able to mount the disk image.

Anyone else have this problem? Or do I just need to try download it again?

Problems with Acrobat. Keep getting error message saying I have to launch another suite before I can open Acrobat. Opened both Photoshop and Illustrator without problems but when I try to open Acrobat again the same error message appears. Please....anybody have any ideas?

Everything intalled well but when I try to use Acrobat Professional a message comes up saying it has to be opened while another componet is open such as Photoshop. When I open with the other components open it still says the same thing and shuts Acrobat down.

I am having the same problem as simonbirch, I am also on a mbp, my friend installed with no problem on his macbook. Has anyone heard or found a solution? Also we both have installed the cs3 beta, so no photoshop, but the other major components install for him but not me. Is it just mbp? Anyone know? Please help.

Installed it on my girlfriend's mac...had photoshop cs2 installed already and now all the cs3 components of the design suite are present except for photoshop. The cs2 version is still there. I know next to nothing about macs, wouldnt the cs3 suite just automatically replace the cs2 with the cs3? if not i guess i would have to uninstall cs2 and then start over?

HELP HELP HELP!!!! I can't get to install this... When I click on the Setup installer icon, the thing opens a "initializing adobe setup" dialog while a green bar loads, and then it just quits and nothing happens.... what am i doing wrong here???

oh just figured it out... you have to uninstall any cs3 programs before using this installer... use the script posted above and clean up your cs3 installation for this .dmg to work.

Unzip the file and execute "Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium (US) [k]" application. It open a window with icons of each Adobe CS3 Design Premium Suit application. These are the patch of each application. To apply the patch for example of Adobe Dreamweaver CS execute the patch, open window Finder and go /Application/Dreamweaver CS/ folder and drop the Dreamweaver application at the Drop Zone of window patch. You must wait a little bit to apply the patch. Do the same with others applications.

I follow the directions as stated and shown in the video, except after the pizza i get a message saying "that the file can not be patched." is it possible that my installer is downloading a newer version that does not work with the patch? should i install with my internet disconected? do you all have intel based macs. im on a macbook pro, can people confirm it working with that machine?

I mounted the disk image fine and when executing the setup file, i get this message:

I could install CS3 successfully but the crack does not work.

sorry to be a menace, but i've read through the comments but i don't seem to find what im after!

i downloaded this torrent as well as the crack (Latest_CS3_crack) avaliable from thepiratebay.org.

however, since i downloaded this software for my friend who owns a iBook, and both of us have NO EXPERIENCE wat so ever with mac's, just wondering if someone could write out a step to step guide on how to install this software, and how to crack it as well! (.dmg = what the hell??? )

sorry to be a pain in the bumbum!
it would be greatly appreciated if someone could take some time and just give me a rough idea on how to install applications on the mac computers.

Hey RalphisCool

A DMG file is a self mounting (loading) image file. When loaded it appears as a disk, like a CD or Floppy. Inside there is the software. Often on a MAC you just drag the Icon of the new software to the MAC and that's the install - Otherwise launch the setup file and it should do it's thing.
I used that crack and it didn't work with all the apps in the suite. I had PS CS2 (pirated of coourse) and I beleive I had Acrobat CS3 already. Any way Indesign, PS, Bridge and some others did work - It left my prior installs alone.
I ended up with PS CS2 and CS3 both working fine.

The crack takes T-I-M-E to work, be patient.

Those looking for the Windows version - WTF, do a search it is right there on this web site.

Launch the DMG file.

Run installer inside.javascript:void(0);
Don't use serial numbers.

When install is finished launch the crack. It is a DMG file as well, so inside the disk is a matrix of Adobe Icons.

Drag the installed application icon from your mac apps folder and drop onto the corosponding icon in the crack. IT TAKES TIME TO WORK.

Do same for all and hope for the best.

I seem to have a different problem. I tried to patch ''dreamweaver.app'' with '' Adobe creative suite design premiumen 3 (US) [K]'', it says ''Patched successfuly'' but when DreamWeaver opens I get that message: ''Licencing for this product has stopped working. Thanks, works like a champ! Seriously its really easy, but i found myself almost trying to drop the application icon on top of the screen with all the icon patches. You must open the individual icons seperately and them drop your application onto the individual patch windows. "Wait 45 seconds after your drop for patches to quietly apply"

I could not install cS3. I have one dmg-File DesignPremiumCS3 and in there, there is one more called Bootstrapper.dmg. If i start the Setup-File something happens, but in the end there is just one register in Programs in there is one File called Adobe Creativ Suite 3 Premium, if i start this file nothing happens.
Could someone give my an instruction?

And yeah as stated a few times in the comments, if you cant get photoshop to work (which at first I couldn't) go to http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html and follow the instructions. After this is done it works fine! Happy Days!

There isn't any solution that I can post here that hasn't already been mentioned.

However, I suggest downloading Little Snitch, this system control panel prompts you to Accept or Deny any connections that an app tries to make to the internet. (ie. pirated software you don't want to verify serial validations). I can't remember if this DL needed it, but it helps with other DLs.

Oh, and this is a great torrent. Will seed for awhile.

I ahve been running this suit perfectly for months now and the all the sudden Device Central says" License Expired" anyone know what the go is?
Also all programs that have been cracked won't update from adobe (Except Bridge and Camera Raw because they don't require cracks)

When I run the Set-up file I get the progress bar, then it stops, and then nothing. I know the installer should come up at that point but it doesn't. I had another version of CS3 that didn't work so I un-installed to do this one. Could that be the problem? I know this one works because I tried it on my computer at work. RKC, I figured it out. I had the same problem. Go to adobe's site and search for CS3Clean. It's a script that gets rid of all CS3 data and lets you do a clean install.

The cracks here on comments 8 + 42 work great for PS, AI, FL and Acrobat in this premium suite.
Would not work for inDesign though.
Kept getting a permissions error.
is there a file somewhere that i need to dump in order for it to work?

I downloaded this back in july but I never could get it to install. In fact, it wouldn't even bring up the install dialouge box. It just asks for authintication/password then as soon as the "initializing" progress bar finishes, installer quits. I've been using adobe photoshop cs3 premium on my macbook pro for a few months. I had beta before that and had to run the script aforementioned to get it to work (works like a charm, but I need illustrator and indesign as well). PLEASE HELP!! I'M DESPERATE!!
