(I hope that there are other men in similar condition so that they could somehow benefit from the discussion).
I'm paying a high price to rent a small condo in a big, overpriced, heavily polluted and crime-ridden city. Moved here because it was one of the few places where I could find job after completing college. Even being a bachelor and living on my own, I feel that I am stuck in the 'rat-race' due to my lack of financial discipline (IOW, I'm not reaping the benefits of a bachelor lifestyle and I am the most responsible for this situation).
I've two questions to the more experienced/wiser and confirmed bachelors/mgtows:
- What do you advise for a single and child-free young bachelor that wants to leave the 'rat-race' in a big city?
- Can you suggest sources of invaluable information on topics related to financial independence for those living away from large urban centers?
Some additional info: I discovered MGTOW in 2015's Q4 and my long term objective is to retire early and have a peaceful life.
I'm in my late twenties and living on my own since early twenties, I've zero debt currently.
edit: fixed some typos.
