No, you don't. You don't really talk to them on there. You see them during the holidays and don't really care all that much the rest of the year. Be honest with yourself. At least, that's how I felt about it.

Delete your facebook and live.

Its really funny because once I deleted my account in 2015 (and all of my 400 "friends") the same handful of people who called me before kept calling.

I never heard from the other 395 again since.

People on social media arent your friends. Friends are your friends. Facebook is an addictive sharade and fake as fuck.

People constantly mindfucking you and anyone else about how perfect their trivial and unimportant lifes are while taking anti-depressants and having nervous breakdowns behind their screens. Facebook is a global parody about the stupidity of mankind.

I talk to them a bit. Make plans for holidays. Look at all my friends from High School and see they are all better than me. etc.

For me I use it to keep connected (not up-to-date) with people I genuinely connect with, it's just a small cozy platform for cool people I care about. I have selected family i like and friends I like.
