Welbeck & Beckham are the first two that spring to mind.

Bonus point - Beckham actually played with Moyes at PNE.

Beckham was loaned to PNE.

Only a short one with 5 Appearances and 2 goals but came back and made his United debut not long after.

He apparently thought it was the end of his chances at United there and then.

Jonny Evans, Tom Cleverly looked to be on the right path before he got injured.

Beckham is the only one I'd say had massive success.

Welbeck somewhat successful, I'd say Lingard has been successful too but it depends what you're measuring success as.

Wellbz came back as better player, Evans, Clevz. You can say that Rossi took his chance while on loan, but competition was terrible for him after that. Lingard recently. I think that Gibson had solid loan spell before playing some part, but hardly can say that he was regular later. Still, that is not much in last 20 years.

loaning is a bit of a random outcome,

tottenham harry kane is a good example of a successful loan, in our club i can think only of lingard

Not with us, but when He was with the hammers, Carrick went out on a couple loan spells.
