                              With Rashford taking all the headlines, I don't know how much he'll get mentioned but I thought Memphis was fantastic again today.

                              He wasn't as dazzling as Thursday but, given the opposition, that was to be expected.

                              He used the ball well, making good decisions on when to carry it and when to pass. And he was good defensively. He was our out ball when Rashford couldn't be. All in all, I thought he was outstanding.

                              I've been critical of him, pretty much all season, but he's impressed me in the last two games. We're starting to see glimpses of why we paid so much for him.

                              On the team as a whole, I thought we were awesome, from back to front. Walcott and Sanchez were anonymous, controlled by the back four. Carrick and Blind didn't put a foot wrong. And the debutants all did brilliantly.

                                        Memphis not losing the ball with every other touch was a massive improvement for me. Everything else is just extra.

                                        Bellerin is no slouch and Memphis did really well against him.

                                        He really seems to be a confidence player, so I hope he can keep his spirits up and grow from this performance.

                                                        Pretty surprised with his maturity to be on a yellow card fairly early in the game yet keep his cool controlling the right side. (Note that they tried multiple players there to bait him in, Ramsey was way further into the right than usual, Alexis kept going towards the middle to give Monreal space to try and beat him. But he was cool, calm and collected.)

                                                                            I've got massive respect for their team, always have had, in many ways that Vieira team was a mirror of our own, aggressive, dynamic, fast, attacking. It was without question a brilliant side. Not my favourite though the George Graham side with Michael Thomas, Winterbourn and the rest was deadly and gave me my greatest non united moment making Liverpool lose in the dying minutes of the last game of the season.

                                                                            I have huge respect for them as a footballing entity, but their supporters come with so much expectation and arrogance, they really believed it was going to be their year this season, they really believe they are one of the biggest clubs in the world. They are a fucking joke. I hate Arsenal supporters with a passion, they're the scousers of London. You won't find a bigger bunch of deluded knobheads on the planet.

In the final stages today I thought he was solid defensively stuffing out a possible counter attack from a Tofu mistake. Really hope he continues his development and fufills his potential.

That said, I'm really fuckin' impressed by Varela - at 22, and in his first real season, he managed to completely shut out one of the best wingers in the world. I honestly think he could seriously challenge Darmian for his place. Keep it up lad!

                                                                                Varela taking on Sanchez was unreal, Sanchez was absent from the game. Tbh, Welbeck was the one player who actually made shit happen for them.

                                                                                Memphis for us was immense with his hold up play and hunger.

                                                                                When we started to keep possession, blind and carrrick were great at distributing whilst Herrera and Schneiderlin were extremely disciplined and did well to calm the game. Mata was his usual brilliant self, although he didn't create many chances his movement was good and he put in a good shift.

                                                                                Lingard was great at defending from the front and doing his running thing.

                                                                                Rashford didn't need the ball heaps to do shit, but god damn did he make shit happen when he did. Great decision making and composure as well as quiet confidence and determination. Really hope he stays in the team next game regardless of who returns just to maintain his confidence and reward him.
