6' Lovely football by Arsenal, fluid movement and interchanges, lead to a flick by Ozil over the top of the Utd defence for Monreal to run onto. One on one with De Gea he volleys it at him. Good early chance for Arsenal

9' The resulting free-kick sees a header back across goal by Gabriel into a dangerous area but nobody is following up and Blind can clear

12' Penalty appeals by United! Rashford picks up the ball wide and drives in towards the area before getting clipped and going down but replays show the referee got it right and it was just outside the area

13' The resulting free-kick is driven in low by Memphis but is well held by Cech given Schneiderlin was following up

19' Monreal does well to get free down the left and whips in a lovely cross but nobody is there and Blind heads it out to Sanchez who has to try to adapt to the flight of the ball and can't get his volley right

28' GOAL FOR UNITED Herrera wins the ball back and plays a nice one-two with Mata before playing it out wide to Varela. Varela pops in a lovely cross which travels across the box before Gabriel mis-kicks it into Rashford's path who calmly plays it into the top right corner!

28' GOAL FOR UNITED United break forwards with Lingard running at the Arsenal defence. he plays it to Mata who chips it to Varela who does a great job of knocking it back to Lingard who crosses it in for Rashford who heads it in!

39' GOAL FOR ARSENAL Ozil drops in a perfect free-kick, Welbeck loses Schneiderlin and nods it past De Gea. Now this is interesting

45' Ozil has a great chance before half-time with a free-kick in nearly the perfect place but he hits it straight into the wall. The ball bounces free into Sanchez's path who hits an incredibly sweet volley that hits Memphis and goes out for a volley

47' Scare for United as Rashford goes down but he seems ok and comes back on

49' Ozil pops a lovely ball into towards Ramsey but Rojo reads it well and manages to get across to cover. Great defending as otherwise Ramsey was in

53' Arsenal have started the better of the two teams and United need

54' Now United attack! Rashford breaks clear before, eventually, Lingard picks up the ball and wins a free-kick from Ozil.

55' Before the free-kick happens a United Substitution. Rojo is off after coming off worse against Welbeck's challenge and Tim Fosu-Mensah comes on for his debut

64' GOAL FOR UNITED! Carrick wins the ball back well and Varela releases Mata with the rebound. Mata brings it away before finding Rashford who drives towards Arsenal's area before turning around and finding Herrera. His shot takes a huge deflection and flies into the goal. Fantastic counter-attack by United though.

67' Fosu-Mensah shows no fear on his debut and breaks powerfully with the ball. He drives into Arsenal's half and finds Memphis who runs straight at Arsenal's defence. He goes inside and plays a 1-2 with Rashford inside the area but, before he can finish, Bellerin gets across very well and puts it out for a corner

69' GOAL FOR ARSENAL Arsenal fly down the right and fling in a great cross which finds Welbeck. He draws a great save from De Gea but Ozil follows up with a half-volley

85' The game is becoming a tense game of attack against defence before Varela gives away a free-kick in a decent position for Arsenal. Ozil floats in another beauty but Koscielny can only cushion it back into DDG's hands.

87' United finally get into the Arsenal half and play a lovely bit of keep-ball between Varela, Mata and Lingard wins them a free-kick in the corner. From the free-kick Memphis gets it short and wins a corner which they take short and use to waste more time
