I sometimes waddle into the cesspool festering with conspiracy theories, hyperbole, and juvenile fantasies, and last week I noticed a lot of photoshopped posters on something about the draft and daughters in the army.

2 things I noticed:

• It came completely out of left field to me. Not sure if I missed something about drafts, or women in the army, or any other policy positions by candidates or some new Obama administration policy that triggered this discussion.

• It appears almost to be some sort of weird forced viral campaign or something of sorts. Doesn't smell right ...

I wanted to know what was up with that? Am I out of the loop or something? I saw a couple of posts mocking them here, but I don't quite know the whole story. Worse -- it is starting to appear on certain relatives posts in facebook -- you know the ones you have to have hanging around or else it becomes a thing at Christmas.
